can any artfags please weigh in on how much a youtube intro typically costs?

like i'm sure she's lowballing with $30 but it doesn't sound like she's asking for anything elaborate tbh so Im just wondering what would be considered a fair price.

Graphic Designers usually get about 80 euros per hour if its a project like that, at least in my country (Scandinavia). Often people want to make a deal for a certain amount they will be paying regardless of the time spent doing the project. So for 3 hours of work (realistic I guess) that would be about 240 euros plus tax and possible billing fee, so a bit over 300 euros / about the same in dollars.

I think it just shows what a pig she is for trying to get actual, real work done for free.

The Twitter one has my 'favorite' of her faces at 0:11... the pissy, pouty, petulant look she treated us to when doing her react to Zach's video. If I had to introduce the concept of ALR to someone, I'd start with showing them that still.

This is just further proof that she thinks she's famous. No trolls, no haydurs, just fans and she deserves to get free things. The amount of denial that fills her arteries is astounding.

I'd say $60-80/hr is reasonable for stuff like this. Making an intro like this might be done in an hour or less (edit: though it obviously wouldn't be extremely elaborate) if the person had the proper software, skill, and importantly, the clips to work with.

But part of the problem is that she's not providing anything -- no footage, no music, no real direction. So she expects someone to sift through her entire YouTube catalog (I guess?) to find clips. That part is ridiculous. Either she thinks someone is going to spend hours and hours (time they could spend on their real jobs or with their loved ones -- two things AL doesn't ever have to worry about) to find stuff and not charge for that time, OR they're already such huge fans that they totally know exactly what footage to use and it's just a matter of pulling it up. That's the real tell, imo. Anyone could be ignorant about how much to pay and lowball an offer, plenty of people are entitled enough to ask others to do creative work for free -- but AL's once again distinguished herself for sheer arrogance and stupidity.

Edit 2: That bit about "but only if you have Venmo, because that's the most convenient for me" really grinds my gears. Either you think someone's work is worth paying for or you don't. If she really can't pay someone any other way, it's fine to stipulate that when negotiating a project, but "I'll toss a few bucks your way if you insist, but not if I have to go out of my way to do it" is another kettle of fish.

Which is another thing -- and yeah, now I'm ranting but this shit really bothers me -- is she actually expecting people to just put in this work, submit their projects, and then she can (maybe, if it's convenient) toss a few bucks at the "winner"? Bitch, that ain't how it works. Go on Fiverr and find someone whose work looks appealing to you, negotiate a project and price, FUCKING PAY THEM, and then use your new intro. You're not doing anyone any honors by allowing them to work for you.

I have a feeling that shes going to spin this in one of her next vlogs about all the funny intros she saw. She was hoping a gullible ambaby that loves her so much would do it for free.

Im excited for the december months videos because shes going to upload a bunch of trash videos for the money and bitch in everyone of them about it even though no one asked her to do vlogmas.
 
Anyone else notice her side of the Hyundai is tore up? This is the passenger side and looks to me like it's been hyperextended each time of her getting in and out. Which means she's pushing the door open wider than its meant to go.

Edit: It just doesn't look like something crashed into it. I.e. scooty puff. It looks like the metal is being pushed in from the door being hyperextended and pushing against the side too much.

As it was discussed in that video's thread, it is extremely unlikely that this is for Twinkie incontinence because there are many other brands available specifically for pet urine removal, and this one just happens to include "people."
