I'm not sure what speaks more. The fact Lily's fans just go scraping youtube filtering their searchest by mosty recently uploaded to find videos about her in her free time, or that lily always has a remark to toss out when they tattle on others to her about it, but not to the actual youtube ToS changes that could potentially end her career.

In my opinion, you're half right. The other half is because I'm almost positive that Lily knows he can't debate in real time worth a damn. In order for him to appear smart to his fans, he needs to be in complete control of the environment and allowed plenty of time to come up with a retort or "witty" comeback while also being able to filter out any questions or topics that he can't answer without looking bad.

Everytime Lily has tried to stick his head into a situation that he couldn't regulate it's only hurt him in the long run; Josh Scorcher, Sarah Z, hell, even more recently in the comment section of that new MLP gen reveal had him made a fool of by some random poster on the website. He's only calles out people with very small audiences that he can shut down easily, like Animechristy, Lizzy, or Patch (geee, lotta artists here, huh?) or those who just don't care enough to make a response to him.

Lily won't make an official response to Vaush because that would be exactly what Vaush would want. As per typical Lily fashion he'd end up twisting some fact here and there and probably get worked up at certain points in the video which Vaush would have a field day with. Lily is a bit like a modern day snake oil salesmen in regards to what he says initially sounds smart because he says it with such conviction ( I will give Lily that much) but if you stop and think about it for a minute or two and have half a brain, you'll realize that was he's saying is a load of BS.

So, yeah, tl:dr Lily probably won't debate or respond to Vaush (outside of Tumblr that is) because he knows that Vaush would humiliate him if he tried to make this a thing.
