Ah yes, everyone wants Sabat's sacred ointment. Actually, this may be a dark rabbit whole I'm not quite sure we should really be looking down, but then again this is Kiwifarms and nothing is too far. It must be fucking awful to be a new female VA in the Funi industry (maybe Male too) because you may have to do a lot of sexual favors for people just to be able to get into decent roles. And I imagine Marchi and Rial are either in on it or are just laughing at how these people grovel at Sabat's feet like pathetic peasants. And Schemmel is just losing his goddamn mind because Sabat just pushes him around and he doesn't even know it.

Let's say Vic really is a monster due to being way too friendly to minors and some sex casa nova (or whatever). He's still half the monster this clique is. Forget about the lawsuit for a moment. I think whatever the hell is going on behind Funi's doors needs to be dragged into the daylight and to hell with the consequences. There are people blindly paying for Funi's work and in return enabling whatever it is back there. And so far the only way to do that is to keep this lawsuit running.

Indeed. But the eternal problem with voting with ones wallet is that most people lack the number of brain cells to grasp that it's their money funding the problem. And thats entirely aside from their selfishness/lack of morality convincing them that their personal purchases don't matter in the big scheme so they are justified in continuing to simultaneously fund the problem and derive enjoyment from the product of it.

Unfortunately it's the rare person that actually says "No" to the BS and backs it up by witholding their entertainment dollar. History is what it is... and almost everyone has a double-extra special excuse why 'they' are OK to give cash to a Funi or a Disney, but 'others' should not. Afterall, "their' money is just X dollars and doesn't matter.

Since Sony owns Funimation wholesale now, the same Soyny responsible for Ghostbusters 2016 and the recently hilarious Charlie's Angels flop.... I have less than a shred of hope that any brands under their control can remain LESS-tainted than they were before. Overall the industry continues to flounder for Funimation, but I do have hope that Sony wants to get some of these "problem children" out of their employ. Marchi, Rial, Soye, Sabat, Schemmel... Many of the core exceptionals in this debacle and even the tangentially related spergs are/were a part of Funimation's greatest cash cow, Dragon Ball. These people are poison at the center of Sony's new brand, and even hiding them under their wing with Aniplex wont save them - Not after "faggot-ass clothes" Goku shows up months before the Japanese Olympic games (where Goku is the fucking mascot). Definitely gonna be enjoyable seeing these "people" slowly start disappearing. Marchi and Rial alone are in less projects, with Rial being one of the few smart enough to be a long term double-dipper into Sentai's work.

Time to make predictions for today's hearing.

Lemoine is gonna get called out on the coaching for depositions thing but because some other thing happened that gets Monica and Ron some money, Lawtwitter will consider it a win despite Lemoine and MoRon perjuring themselves.

Martinez will probably take charge for Vic's side.

Volney will be clutching prayer beads hoping that nobody sees the itemized billing that was redacted but otherwise doesn't really say too much or get involved in arguments.

Johnson's just there. Not really much to nitpick about him.

Griftsby shows up only to be disappointed and write some half-hearted hit piece.

None of the VAs or anyone else of interest will be there, but some Lawtwitter sped will definitely show up and gloat about it despite it being a business as usual hearing.

The new filings by Vic's counsel give me hope that there's gonna be an ass whooping. Good work.

If Griftsby pulls a Yaniv and collapses in the courtroom it'll be even better.

Soyny ain't gonna do shit.

Unless the appeals don't got the way of the way of said Three Stooges and Failmation, you bet your ass that Sean, Chris, Monica, and Jamie aren't being booted from their cushy Sacred Ointment Couch Club they've shacked up in Funi with Chris having them by the balls.

The hammer can't come down because it's still early (Despite Lawtwatter, KV, Grizzlebees, ANN, or other morons) in appeals and thus the two landwhales can't be terminated or let go in the midst of this and the only thing they could do in regards to Sabat is investigate the allegations made by Chuck Huber.

But if they're as incompetent as they were on Vic, expect nothing more than a lazy "We found nothing" answer if Sabat is investigated after Weeb Wars comes to a draw.

They say what they need to say they have the correct take on the issue for the sake of their Twitter following. Anything that comes out of their mouth has zero value. They are purely trying to spin and circlejerk themselves as the 'winners'.

I doubt it, normal people don't just record telephone conversations. Especially if they aren't the one who initiated the phone call which, from the reading of Slatosh's affidavit, it seems as if it was always Ron who kept antagonizing people, a loathsome character trait we've seen him display time and time again. It should be effortless to get the dates verified from the phone company, but it's absurdly optimistic to assume the calls were recorded.

I mean considering he went out of his way to antagonize someone who left a negative review on Okratron that mentioned him.....

He is definitely the type of person to feel entitled to messaging people repeatedly until he gets the desired result. Which again, is another sign of an abusive person.
