Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Basically its a choice between desperately clinging on to the vain hope people who despise you and will always despise you might some day "respect" you if you grovel before them enough and refuse to fight back...or choosing to start winning elections while slowly but surely killing the system which set your side up to fail while those who despise you shriek in impotent fury
And yet tons of Republicans like Romney and the NeverTrumpers still choose to do the former.

Yellow bellied cowards the lot of them.

In an actual fascist society, you would be put to death for saying this.
"YOU ARE WITNESSING A FASCIST TAKEOVER!"

Erm....correct me if I am wrong but didnt Drumpf get elected like three years ago? Wouldnt that have been the fascist takeover or is this sped actually trying to say that he is going to use the impeachment hearings to ascend to fucking Super-President or some shit?!

It’s stuff like this that makes me wish other places had KiwiFarms ratings. If I could, I’d rate her sperging as dumb.

Because they still listen to their PR people and assume that "surrender and grovel before anyone who shrieks about being offended" will magically start working and paying vast dividends any second now...

The camps meme used to be right-wing, except with FEMA camps.
Is there any right-wing conspiracy theory that hasn't been coopted by the TDS crowd?
If anything, the TDS crowd would be glad if there were actual Nazi style concentration camps because they’d feel vindicated.

Apparently, immediately following Graham's probe into the Biden/Burisma situation, Biden had an interview with Don Lemon and was more than a bit upset. Normally I don't pay too much attention to anything that Guliani is talking about, but he makes a good point, this is unusually similar to the way that the mafia used to behave whenever senators or investigators buckled down to try and dig into what they were doing.

It's appropriate, too. If anyone knew what it'd be like like to prosecute the mafia, it'd be all of the people involved in this, not the least of which being Rudy Guliani. They really don't want people looking at Burisma, do they?

Not only is Trump living rent free in their heads, so is Putin.

The amount of power leftists attribute to little Vlad is insane. Sure, the man is a shrewd politician but at the end of the day Russia is still a shit hole failed state. It's got an economy smaller than Texas and the male life expectancy is younger than the age of Trump, Bloomberg, Biden and Bernie. If Putin was really that powerful Russia should have a lot more to show for it.
Worst of all, this Russia obsession distracts from actual threats to the nation; namely China. Russia can barely win a war against Ukraine and only took over Crimea because it carefully manipulated local demographics (something we should be wary of given our own illegal immigration crisis) and for no other reason. Meanwhile, China plans to create a global protection racket. But just ignore that, Russia "hacked" our election by posting misinformation on Facebook. Because that's illegal, somehow.

Honestly the amount of both Sinophobia and Russophobia at the corporate decision making level right now is way more concerning then what your average Joe Blow or tumblrina thinks. There are nationality based hiring bans for privileged access for both Chinese and Russian nationals, and it's almost becoming the norm in the valley to be viewed with suspicion if you work in any capacity with former soviet bloc nations, or East Asian nations barring JP and SK. It's fucking weird, it's like post 9/11 treatment for Arabs, but specifically in tech.

You don't survive and thrive on Wall Street, then go on to survive and thrive in Hollywood and then go on to survive and thrive in Washington without getting very good at getting out of jams.

There are no three bigger snake pits in the world and he holds his own in all of them.

If anyone does half as good in any of the three it's an accomplishment. To do what he does is all three is actual sorcery.

Trump has literally been dangling the media off his dick for 30 years. He used to call media up as a someone else and they'd spend weeks chasing their tail because it was obviously him. Dude knew what he was doing. He has been shifting narratives in his favor for decades. Brian Stelter wants to be Trump.

I wouldn't be surprised if Robert Mueller also falsified some documents as well.

Mueller is dirty as fuck. He kept people in jail when there was exonerating evidence which is why he ended up the SC. Funny how these DNC honeys have a penchant for abusing the penal system.

I feel as though I should be voting for Trump just to spite these people. Its all so tiresome.

Vote for Trump because he isn't the DNC.

I dunno if this would truly go in here, but it is related to politics and Trump somewhat and I feel like we could all use a little bit if positivity in our lives.

Today I threw a party for my theatre troupe (which doubles as my best friend group) because we had a really successful play this fall. It was just the 15 of us watching the movie version of our play and then playing Cards Against Humanity, and as we were all laughing over the card selection I noticed something that made me really happy and hopeful for the future.

All of us have vastly different political opinions (Some are very anti-trump, some of us are very pro, some of us lean slightly to one side or the other, and some of us are just plain ambivalent) and despite disagreeing heavily, we're all able to sit down and laugh over hilariously offensive card choices and listen to music and play dumb party games and watch movies together. We're able to look past politics and agree to disagree because we're all friends and we love each other and petty politics can't destroy that.

It often feels like we as a society are becoming more and more divided by the day, but you sometimes gotta step back and remember that twitter isn't real life, and that most people can get along and love each other despite their politics. It's not as bad as it seems, honestly. We'll get through the bullshit of Current Year, I promise.

The media has a massive incentive to push the idea that the country is on the verge of a race war/civil war(I do think we're closer than we should be). Some media groups are definitely essentially branches of intelligence agencies but the rest just want to sell soap.

Or in other words a lot of the MSM either profits off of dividing the country or just does it as part of an op.

Man these guys love repeating themselves.

I post this because it reminds me of how they were saying the exact same shit in the run up to 2016's election; how every week it was the "beginning of the end" of DRUMPF's campaign. And here they are 3 years later still sounding like a broken record. I won't get complacent and say he's got re-election in the bag, but these howler monkeys in the media haven't learned a single thing since November 8th 2016.

I have zero problem with that. In the military there is tons of classified stuff that is NOFORN (not for release to foreign nationals). And many civilian operations have even higher security than the government. It's easier to get into a Navy base than a civilian shipyard.

The rest of the world does not share the western view of a post-national, global marketplace. The question shouldn't be "why are companies beginning to distrust foreigners, thinking they're more interested in their own people than us", but rather "why did it take so long to realize this?". Similar to the reeeing at neoliberalism dying in politics, so begins the reeeing at neoliberalism dying in business (in this case, the belief that non-commercialable parts of culture are meaningless and should be discarded if they get in the way of business). China stealing intellectual property is like it snowing in Buffalo: it may not be every day, but it's so often that it's not really novel anymore. Hiring chinese nationals to handle secure data is like leaving the sunroof open.

That's before you get into the question of whether foreign qualifications mean anything. Spoiler: most of the time it just means you can bribe someone. Every code guy has horror stories of how bad it is to work with H1-B's from India. I doubt it's different for the chinese.

It perfectly logical for an American company to want Americans.

America first, America Greatest, America Eternal

I don't disagree with most of what you wrote, but Pajeet Patel and Wei Wang are on completely different levels of performance on average. There's a reason your average random company employing armies of South Asian tech folks at like 80k a year, and places like Amazon, Google, Netflix, etc are employing primarily East Asians at 250k+. You've really got to live in the environment to see the difference.
