If you truly wanted to establish the "Thousand year SJW Reich" , it would be best to doctor polls to indicate lower support for impeachment than there actually is, so the Republicans close ranks around Trump and shoot down the impeachment. Thus the media can implicate the entire Republican party as accomplices to Trump's "corruption" thereby "unmasking" the "Old Boys Club" , and with Big Tech's control over the flow of information a large enough majority will fall for such propaganda that they'll rush to the polls and vote straight-ticket Dem to prevent America from transforming into a gangster state.
Because they got greedy/arrogant and thought Obama's re-election was a sign to triple-quadruple speed up their agenda, believing with all of the arrogance one can expect from the elites, that re-electing a black man who also managed to get gay marriage legalized/health care reform passed, was "proof" that the country had moved so far to the left that they could just boil the frog ASAP instead of slowly and use the now discredited demographic shift meme, to steamroll anyone on the left from trying to put the breaks on the machine.
Tossed into this, is the fact that the ENTIRE purpose of the Democrat Party, the ENTIRE PURPOSE of the DNC and it's various tentacle infected wings in the media and in the entertainment industry, and even Obama himself when he became a Black Swan event with his meteoric rise to power, was dedicated to ONE thing and ONE thing only: a Clinton Restoration.
16 years have been spent by many powerful people, for one purpose and one purpose only: to get Hillary Clinton elected President. All due to the Faustian bargain Bill and Democrat Party made in 1998, when the promise of the Presidency was the ONLY THING they could think of to keep Hillary from divorcing Bill at the height of the Lewinsky Affair scandal; a move that would have damned Bill and most likely ensured he would have lost the impeachment fight and been forced out of office due to such a vote of non-confidence being an unblockable kill shot to Bill's political career at that point in history.
Toss in the fact that Obama and Trump hate each other THAT much, in terms of blood feud and the fact that Obama and his clique will do ANYTHING to destroy Trump given the fact that his election was the ultimate "Fuck You" response conservative America could have given Obama? Plus the general arrogance of the left where after YEARS of dealing with the mainstream media leaning center-right, that they managed to bend 99% of US media to their will, under Obama, into becoming lunatic propaganda outlets they directly control?
They truly want Trump dead for fucking up their plans. They are literally seeing red with rage, flames on the side of their faces filled with rage and since they control the media, honestly don't give a shit about optics since they can have the media lie like they've never lied before, in order to bend reality and justify their rampage of revenge. Their coup is going to happen no matter what and the only reason, the ONLY reason, I can think of for why they haven't just straight up murdered Trump is that:
1. They have to kill Pence too at the same time
2. They had to secure Pelosi as Speaker to ensure they get her in charge in the wake of said assassination
3. They have to find a way to go full Pol Pot and crush all opposition that will rise up, after they kill Trump and Pence off as part of a blood coup.
And the only reason 1 and 3 haven't been figured out is that there are people on the left that think Pence isn't worth the bullet in terms of them thinking they can cow him into submission if they kill Trump and make sure Pence knew they did it in terms of intimidation and the later, because they realized that would be IMPOSSIBLE with the current local/state level make-up of law enforcement and the military for the most part being pro-Trump.
This is what really strikes me as bizarre about TDS. It's how much they want this to be true. They want to live in this state of constant fearful outrage, because it gives them this weird secondary benefit that is really freaky to watch from the outside. And yet none of them seem to notice the causal link between their unhappiness and how much of the media they consume that tells them to be fearful and outraged all the time.
They are only like that because they truly thought they had their Thousand Year Reich sewn up and were finally going to live out their own sick and perverted version of Nazi Germany or Stalin's Russia or Pol Pot's Cambodia. They were on the brink of being able to do whatever they wanted in terms of living out their sadistic fantasies towards middle america and anyone who bullied them while Bush was President and their paranoia and panic, especially towards Russia is their guilt and shame of almost being found out and panicking they would end up swinging from a tree on the wrong side of history. Especially once their coup plan went into effect and it didn't go as smoothly as they thought it would and the fact that Putin's the type that, if he felt froggy, would murder every single person who tried to frame him as a part of said coup, via a slow and painful death by poisoning. Because Putin doesn't fuck around when dealing with people who've gotten on their shit list and part of them knows, Putin's got members of the US media and top Democrats on his kill list and the only thing that is stopping him from giving the kill order, is that Putin knows that some of those people would WELCOME being killed by Putin if their colleagues could find a way to spin their deaths in a way to further said coup against Trump.
That's why I'm looking forward to the post-Trump years.

Which they probably are DYING to do, once they have the power and force required to silence and kill anyone who calls them out on doing it via state repression the likes of which only exists in communist countries.
