Not much. Connor made a thread to document his progress, even though almost every person who commented on the thread told him that we won't praise him or be impressed until he makes some true progress and that he should let his actions speak instead of his words. Of course, we got the whole "I've really changed, I feel terrible for my past behavior, etc" schtick. Connor then posted a resume- which, to remind you, he had been putting off doing for weeks- which was hilariously awful and half-assed; it was literally something you could pump out in about two minutes. When Kiwis called him out on being so half-assed about improving his life and expecting praise for it, Connor threw a mini fit and left.
So yeah, you really didn't miss anything.

Now, maybe I'm just negative, but part of me feels like his whole "starting a new thread" thing was to get away from how it'd be just like all the other times he's done this in a poor attempt to look like he's serious his time... or to make it harder to use said other times/his own words against him.
Also, I'm still baffled that even after five freakin' years he can't answer basic questions about his characters. I'm sure most people here would be able to answer some if not all of them.

So, with the merging of Connor's random little asspat-seeking thread back into his main one (thanks, @Glaive ), it seems like a good place to start trying something new. Since the Jace boards are dead now, I'm stealing one of their rules and jury-rigging it for my own purposes:

I apologize if I came off a little strong, but that thread of his set me off a tad.
I really do feel that if Connor is going to prove that's he's changing he needs to show up with something completed. By announcing your own intentions to people you're less likely to complete them than if you keep your goals to yourself. Connor wants the satisfaction without having to do anything to earn it.

I think we do need to clarify the difference between getting mad and getting annoyed, though. I agree that just calling Connor names isn't do anything, but when he keeps saying "guys I'm changing!" and we call him out and he admits he's barely trying, it's a little normal to get upset over that.
@Connor, a lot of us want to help, and even when you act like you're willing, you barely try. When we call you out, you snap at us. Half of this thread is people calling you a fat whiny faggot, sure, but the other half is people offering advice or ways to improve yourself. People are only getting upset at you because you don't care that we want to help you improve, and you keep showing how impervious you are to change.
