Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

J. Sean Lemoine filed Post-Hearing Brief in Support of Sanctions and Attorneys’ Fees:

He complains about the difficulty of suborning a bunch of perjury and utterly irrelevant affidavits full of scurrilous allegations with nothing to do with the existence of a prima facie case. Once the plaintiff has made a prima facie case, there is no rebutting it. It isn't a swearing contest. The plaintiff's evidence is presumed valid. All defendants had to do was show there wasn't a prima facie case, and Chupp agreed with that. After that, affidavits were irrelevant, and would have been irrelevant had Chupp found a prima facie case.

The fact Lemonhead engaged in overlitigation doesn't entitle him to a windfall.

He'll probably get it though.

At least from Chupp.

He might but I think Chupp's hesitation might be a sign that he thinks there is something screwy with the billing (likely Lemoine) and what we heard from the hearing seems to indicate that Chupp thinks Lemoine's filings are largely time-wasting bullshit. It feels weird to me that he'd delay his decision to this week only just to rubber stamp everything.

chupp has done weird shit before, like the mediation

Lemoine reeks of desperation, seem odd that he's being this pushy when he knows he's got appeals to tackle before he sees a cent. Something must've spooked him good... Wouldn't have anything to do with Chupp needing a word with co-counsel would it?
"Chupp's stressing me the fuck out, Andrea. I'm going through 3 tanks a day now!"

So I go for a few days due to too much fucking work and as a result I'm behind on the other threads and apparently missed the mother of all fuckups on the PR side by only checking this one and now you fuckers are teasing me. And worst part is I can't even binge this shit till the next weekend. My balls are so fucking blue bloody Gargamel is trying to hunt me down.
