Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

The Fuhrer and Monica better watch themselves because if Fuhrer Citronella's boss is pissed at the fees ruling imagine how angry Ron must be at being on the hook for that much money. Unless of course Funimation is paying for this shit like some suspect.
Even if Funimation was paying hell whoever was paying, pretty sure they were expecting the whole bill to be paid aka them getting paid back. Now the fee decision has probably thrown that whole plan to hell.

I assume they're dumping on Ty because if they become like Nick they'll have to fight with lawtwitter

They have to fight LawTwitter if they even mention it. Anyone mentions this case people come swarming out of the woodwork to scream about it.

I'm holding out for a MoRon murder-suicide ending. :optimistic:

I was thinking about this outcome as well. "There's only one option left. A murder-suicide pact."

We all know they hate Nick, and this forum too much to take any sensible advice. They won’t consult a malpractice lawyer, or even other council.

To them, Lemontwink is a god lawyer since he managed to legally smear Vic through the filings, and affidavits.

It doesn’t matter that the TCPA expert spent 260 hours on just ”researching”, and drafting the TCPA motion alone. Where as a lowly stripmall lawyer got the case won for 1/5 the cost in total.

I think it was more about planting the seeds of doubt. Ron and Monica might be in a weakened emotional state because they will now be paying for this for... Several years at least, whether actual costs or malpractice lawsuit. So someone lied to them about the TCPA keeping costs down, someone lied about Vic never suing, someone lied about Lemoine being awesome.

Ron and Monica think they didn't do anything wrong and are victims. Now they've been victimized by their own side. Whoops!

Someone from KV or Lawtwitter is gonna be a murderer. Or multiple someones.
Jamie murders about 16 donuts a day so I'll leave her in her corner.

Shane? Manjaw? Lemoine?

Lawtwitter is in the process of murdering any career potential they had by oversharing, super messy stuff.

Chuck Huber mentioned in his affidavit, that the Funimation Boss wasn't concerned about the suit because he was told Vic would pay for it all via the TCPA.

Guess that didn't pan out for them either.

This is true. A lot of finger pointing must be going on. Might be a matter of time before someone breaks.

"Male" feminists, and SJWs always doubledown. Watch them take this all the way. They already got a win, and they expect to win again.

There's no reason to bother folding, outside of some issues with the bills.
Casey, and Perez still haven't even answered as to why Funimation is shows paying bills; so they're all over the place.

TCPA would be the breaking point, I think.

As of now, they "only" lose $160,000 if Vic just rolls over and dies. If it gets past TCPA, the $100,000 payout they get from Vic gets reduced by however many causes are upheld, and by how much the appeals court decides on.

And let's say they utterly destroy Vic at trial. They're still on the hook for the $280,000 Lemwaaah said he would bill them for. And that's best case scenario.

Anything less than best case is embarrassing discovery, costly settlement or a jury judgment, and lots of time and stress.

Martinez and Hsu seem like they're on the ball and out for blood, so I'm confident at least something will be reversed. And that's where the fun begins.

$280,000 FOR NOW, if it gets to appeal, yet alone past it, that shoots up by $100,000 or so a month.

And yeah the second they're gonna face Discovery Funimation is going to toss them out to dry. And the second discovery gets going, you're gonna see a lot more of Vic's "friends" having talked shit about him for years over company chat and the like. The golden goose being Sabat and the Casting Couch Crew.

If the cost of entry to the legal system in America makes it unattainable to the common person, it'll just continue to increase the likelihood that they turn to the firm of Smith & Wesson instead.
I fear the day people start Kevin Spaceying (allegedly) their accusers

I can see Manjawllo going school shooter regardless of the results because she got triggered too hard. Jamie and Ron seem like the type of nutters who'd (attempt) to carve a path of crimson corpses (and fail) if they got dragged back in, especially the latter.

Why? Why should anyone be surprised or sad the Funimation brass are gigantic shitheads? Especially Gen who solely got anywhere cause his uncle wasn't a complete fuck up like him.

Funimation is Gen's brainchild and was a notoriously, nightmarishly awful shithole for years and years before Sony took over. If it's a turd, it's because it came from an asshole.

If only someone had been warning them for the better part of a year that would be the outcome. If only some brave soul could have saved them all that wasted time and money. If only...

Well, we can only hope whomever may or may not have been in a position to do that keeps on doing or not doing it, so MoRon et al can continue to not listen, and not believe.

How much does a lawsuit cost? Nick Rekieta asked this question almost a year ago. The answer? MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD.

I would argue that due to appeals being limited in filings and such that your wrong about the $100k buuuut with how much the TCPA expert Lemonaids researches and charges for it...your most likely right.

Come to think of it, what IS the limit for an opening volume of filings? I think we know Ty is capable of filling the whole thing, but if Lemonparty is gonna do the same, maybe less is more to stay in the CoA's good graces.

He’ll likely take another 100 hours just researching, and drafting the appeals motion.
Remember this self proclaimed expert, that references his own blog spent 260 hours researching and drafting just the TCPA motion to dismiss.

and filed that motion jointly too. It was funny how Sellers pointed that 260 hours AND Lemondaids blog out in their fee motion.

It’s good he did it. Ty was way too nice, and it’s clear hes in a field where people avoid issues by doing more business. It doesnt work with these mentally challenged “feminists“, and their brain aids council.

Lemontwink wants to fling shit everywhere? Then shove his nose in it, and point it out to the judge.

Martines Hsu, wouldn’t have ignored a motion to compel discovery like Ty did. He was giving them too many chances, not realising how fucked in the head the clients, and council were.
