No, he's right. I thought it was Snufkin, but in my defense, neither the Joxter nor Snufkin had a tail in the books so how the hell would I know the baby was Snufkin?

To be honest I knew that and just made a joke. The tail thing as far as undestand from a trend that likes to depict moomin creatures more clearly as fantasy creatures witch most importantly means not human. Many points in moomin canon there references that Little My is a mymbel, a race that mostly resembles humans but some members have clearly non human features like antennas or tails. Snufkin is mentioned to be related to My so he is not actually human witch some artist like to show by giving him a tail.

These LGBT Pokemon ideas are really fucking weird and something I'll never nor do I want to understand . Like not long ago I've seen a trans (and bi) Meowth post (they say that Meowth is trans because the english voice actor was also trans) and Hatterene is also trans because of her colorscheme.

Edit: I wrote the voice actor is trans but she is no longer voices the character since she passed away in 2008. R.I.P. Maddie Blaustein.
