Welp, it's making its money back (though it ain't doing well domestically) and probably going to profit then unless it has a big die-off. I was hoping for a flop so he could shut the fuck up tbh.Made 70 million this weekend
That 70 million is the worldwide total FWIW.Welp, it's making its money back (though it ain't doing well domestically) and probably going to profit then unless it has a big die-off. I was hoping for a flop so he could shut the fuck up tbh.
Checked it before posting yeah; he only made 20 million in the US, which is pretty shit. Since it's a "small/medium" budget though, it's easier to not bleed though. He got saved by the foreigners like all of shitty Hollywood is trying to do.That 70 million is the worldwide total FWIW.

FTFYFive, actually. You missed the morbidly curious who know the movie is going to be awful, they just want to get the full horror of the cinematic experience and those who quit after ROTS but got fooled into believing Soy Wars could be fixed but quit after TLJ
So at the Annual Thanksgiving Star Wars Argument with my oldest (22 and drunk on Disney Kool-Aid), he said that all of the Doomcock spoilers have been "debunked on Reddit."
I've heard nothing about this. Thoughts?
Whether you think Doomcock's leaks are legit or not doesn't matter, especially since the original leaks that thus far have been confirmed by merchandise, marketing, and things that the various dipshits at Lucasfilm decided to whinge about were likewise put out on Reddit. It's not been 100% but there's enough we know to suggest that a lot of it is.
But ask him this to get some entertainment out of him: What does he really know about it?
Most other movies you get a grasp of what's going to happen and what the story might involve from the trailer. We don't with this.
And we know why that is -there's been repeated re-shoots, something Disney itself has admitted to - and which most of the time, means the movie is going to be shit, because it will have no overarching vision and is at best going to be unfocused.
Some of the biggest blockbuster failures of the last few years have been loaded with re-shoots, including the Justice League movie, Suicide Squad, I Am Legend, The Invasion, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, and most relevant to this movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Even if you're one of the people who unironically liked this new trilogy, this bodes awful for it and suggests that no one has any idea what they're doing with it.
Yeah, I enjoyed it well enough. Anyone who thinks that it's a 9/10 game and that it's saved Star Wars games is fooling themselves, though. In the time we've had one finally decent game we had a shitton of legendary games in the early 2000s.Ive been playing that new fangled Jedi fallen order game that the demon EA shat out. Its actually not bad, one of the better star wars games even. Its a metroidvania with its combat kinda apeing dark souls but at the same time not really.
If he stays away from writing it, sure. Ozymandias was really good."Help us Rian johnson your our only hope! people are actually enjoying something we have created"

It's only recently that Fall of Star Wars has been getting commercial promos on my end TV wise; it actually seriously backs the leaks of it having a shitload of redesigns and the fact that JarJar Abrams only fixed it like a week ago or so given this has only started a few days ago.I've seen more tie in advertisements on TV recently. It always baffles me the advertisements they have when they have a movie where they can't do product placements. Like the luxury car ads, the airline ads, etc. Nobody is buying that shit either because of or in spite of DisneyWars.
Though I will bet there will be Coca-Cola in this movie, even if it's a poster in the background, due to the whole Galaxy's Edge shit.
I don't watch kids channels so I don't know if they're advertising toys or not.

I predict The Mandalorian will have furfaggotry and wokeness and that it is only a question of when not if, this is how bad Star Wars has become that i can say that and potentially be rightMy problem is not really with the wokeness, it's about whether or not Filoni will keep his furfaggotry out of the show.
So far, Filoni and Favreau seem to want to show that Star Wars isn't about the diversity of humans but life in general in the SW galaxy. They showed a lot of different aliens and they weren't used as simple extras in the background, some have a dialect, their own currency, etc. It's those little things that bring that sense of wonder and mystery that used to be present in the Prequels and the Original Trilogy. There's a deep care for the lore, it's like TCW but in live action.
Not only that but if Disney owned a social media website like Twitter they could use their power to influence trends, to shape the thoughts of the users. Same with the current events, let's say something happens in China, would they let people talk about it and let the info trend for hours at the risk of ruining their multi-billion dollar contracts with that country?
Hilariously this might be a better polished product than the trailers for RoS. More gravitas and emotion than that film too.Well, here's a thing.
I thought I Am Legend was a hit?
I know there was talk of making a prequel once.
