Jasper Carewatch - ASPCAck-Ack-Ack

Ugh, Phil you fat fucking narc. Jasper doesn't 'get jealous' you aren't paying attention to him. He doesn't know you're talking to your streamchat. All he knows is that when you do that you are distracted and he can do whatever he wants.
Jasper didn't get adopted because he was declared.

Not because he is such a hell cat that he jumps on your face while you sleep. He eats your electronics, he could the light switches...

You had one demon possessed Kat and bought a second demon possessed cat.
Remember how Phil told us they went to local cat shelters for months and months to look at cats, and for some reason Phil kept shooting down actually adopting one until they heard about this declawed orphan halfway across the country and then suddenly Phil's all for getting a cat.

He absolutely got this cat because it is declawed and now he's getting exactly what his dumbass deserves: a cat with a higher propensity for behavior problems, anxiety, and aggression, all because his pussy ass was scared of a cat that has claws.

Can't believe I reg'd just to post this shit but you guys are posting woefully ignorant information concerning cats and/or animals and I didn't go through vet school to see dumb shit getting in the way of my DSP entertainment.

Phil bought Jasper a "bubbling water dispenser". Why? I put my cat's water in a bowl. Each morning I dump it out and fill it up. I switch it out once a week. Oh I forgot. This is the guy who has to mark on his calender when garbage day is despite living there for five years.

"Jasper was drinking water out of the bamboo plant". First of all, that's not how potted plants work. Second, if there is standing water in your potted plant, you are dumb as shit and watered it way too much. "Jasper could get sick". How would Jasper get sick? Do wild animals drink tap water or so they drink water that maybe touched dirt?

Cats have the worst kidneys problems of all known mammals. They should not be drinking still water if it can be helped. Wild cats will seek out moving water above all things including food. Will they drink still water if left with no other choice? Yes. But they won't like it and yes, actually, dirt in their water is a serious health issue. If you are putting water in your cat's bowl as you said then you should stop it. "Bubbly water fountains" are $10 on Amazon. There is no reason to not be using one.

Ugh, Phil you fat fucking narc. Jasper doesn't 'get jealous' you aren't paying attention to him.

I don't know if Jasper specifically feels that way towards Phil because it's hard to believe anyone ever would but, yes, cats do feel jealousy. It is a very outdated belief that goes against all the science (legitimate science, not new age quackery) that has been done to suggest otherwise.

There are six base emotions: anger, distrust, fear, happiness, sadness, surprise. I shouldn't need to convince anyone that animals obviously feel those.

Then there are complex emotions such as jealousy, sympathy, love, depression. Show a dog his owner being buried and that dog will mourn at it the rest of his days. Have an old dog that's deteriorating at his advanced age and want to make him feel like shit? Adopt a new, young dog and watch it destroy him emotionally. We have been prescribing anti depressants to cats and dogs for over a decade. Ironically the first commonly accepted complex emotion that was agreed upon was hatred, with the behaviorists understanding that lion's and hyena's behavior could only be described as pure hatred for one another (the reason Disney chose them as the antagonists).

Phil does enough dumb shit without needing to pile on other wrong shit to make fun of him, let's keep it grounded, comrades.

Thank you. We all learned something today.

I'm aware cats have emotions. I was referring to the specific situation. Phil is sitting in a room by himself. Jasper is a cat. Jasper has no conception that Phil is talking at other people over the internet to 'get jealous' during Phil's pre-stream behavior of sitting on a couch talking, for all Jasper knows Phil IS talking to him. If Jasper wanted attention from Phil when they are in a room alone together do you think he would 1: Jump up on the couch and walk around on Phil, or 2: Go off in a corner by himself to chew on cords that Phil doesn't let him chew on if Phil sees it?

Also, cats seek out running water because in nature it is fresh as opposed to stagnant water. The only reason you need to buy a 'Bubbling Water Fountain' is if your cat doesn't seem to drink enough water it will encourage them to drink more water. If you provide your cat with fresh water to drink from a bowl everyday and they drink it there is absolutely no reason to buy a fountain. Plus those fountains get dirty and can have scum build up in them and bits of food from their mouths can drop into it. Do you think Phil is taking his apart and thoroughly cleaning it every week, or just filling it up every now and then? Phil can't even be bothered to clean the litterbox more than once a week. In my experience people tend to clean the 'Bubbling Pet Fountains' much less frequently than the would a bowl that they don't have to disassemble, and can quikly put in the dishwasher along with any other dishes.

Those fountains also have plastic housings for the engine and many times, especially the cheep ones, the fake rocks and bowl are made from plastic. The bacteria build-up on plastic food and water dishes can trigger feline acne which generally manifests as painful and irritated black bumps on the chin. Most vets recommend glass, ceramic, or metal food and water dishes to alleviate these issues. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy a cheep plastic 'Bubbling Pet Fountain', if you are going to buy one you should get an expensive one with no plastic. Those start out at around $40+ if you think your cat needs one.

that cat is locked inside all day, with no claws, no friends, and no exercise

this cat doesn't follow the normal patterns of basic emotions, he's being abused

Phil believes that Jasper is jealous of the viewers on twitch.tv

I've owned cats my entire life and I also looked up jealous in the dictionary. I don't believe that Jasper can feel jealous of the viewers because I don't think Jasper knows that twitch exists. He doesn't even understand that the internet is a communication device. The viewers and it's manifestation in Phil's world (the camera) pose no rivalry to Jasper that he should feel jealous of.

Jasper does not understand that the cords power the electronic devices that allow Phil to communicate with the viewers. Jasper doesn't know what the cords even are.

The one time Phil let Jasper play in his "office" he used a pipe cleaner that Phil called a "twisty"

Now a cat, having a brain about the size of a pea looks at that Twisty and thinks... "hmm this kinda looks like the tangled mess of cords that Philip has. I like to play with long twistys and cords! I'm mister jasper! I'm a good kitty"

Phil has a lot of "twistys" for Mister Jasper Kitty to play with.

If the fountain is the same water that would be in the bowl, I'm not sure why it "moving" would make that much difference. The cat's not drinking from a mountain stream; it's still in the house.

Also, I'd like to see the "scientific" studies that show old dogs are "destroyed emotionally" but having young dogs around. That sounds a lot more like humans projecting their feelings at seeing their older dogs not being able to run around anymore. But if you're giving human emotions to dogs, old people don't see children running and think "Wow, that destroys me inside" so not sure why a dog would.

Cats are desert animals. They were from the desert. They poop in sand because they lived in the desert. Comprehend that.

Cats drink any water available. They are desert animals.

You are a vet. Okay. A vet is a doctor who failed.

Which will get a lawsuit? "Sorry, Joe. Your cat died" or "sorry Joe your mom died" think about it.

The bottom line is Jasper is a trash tier pet. Nobody in Arkanbama wanted him. Ship him to Washington. Seattle, a city with one million stray cats. They bring vans filled with cats to a city with too many cats. Okay, lets believe that.

Not to stick up for a powerleveling idiot but my vet is a goddamn hero and if she killed one of my cats through negligence I'd have her whole family's spines decorating my mantle.

Vets are cool.

Does Jasper own any real toys which aren't repurposed plumbing utensils? He has no cat partner to play with, single cats need way more attention, especially the younger ones. Jasper has to make up for his lack of claws, he needs stuff to do.

The "jiggly thing" is not a toy and it motivates Jasper to play with the very similar looking cables.
A cat tree is not a toy, it's a place to hide from danger (just like the Burnell Estate).
A fountain is not a toy, it's purpose is to provide running water over static water (some cats prefer that).
Throwing keyboards from the couch and walking over hotkeys to trigger nightmare fuel are not toys.
Sleeping is no toy.
Walking and jumping to desperately get some attention is no toy.

This cat has special needs. If this fluffball owns any real toys then they are by far not enough. Phil should beg for some with his Amazon Wishlist, but for real. It's not Jasper's fault he's trapped with a pig.

Edit:
It enjoys me how the most nicest cat in the world turns into a bothering force of destruction which needs to kept observed 24/7. You think someone did something wrahng and not everything correct, Phil?

What an asshole, couldn’t even amuse the question and after hyping it up for like 2 months he hits the stream with a jasper’s a personal cat and not a business cat. I wonder if kat banned jasper from Phil cause he keeps spraying him or if Phil banned him cause of the wires

I thought Jasper was positive news that would help the stream! Better believe that cat's food, litter, etc. will be deducted as a Serious Adult Business expense though.

So now kat is being irritated by the cat.

I can already see phil saying that him and kat had to donate jasper to a new home. They can't even handle a fucking kitten.
The way dsp describes it is that lately he's just getting sprayed in the face all day. By him AND Kat

I'm not a vet but I know I've heard that spraying is a pretty shitty way to try to get a cat to change their behavior, it just upsets them.

I'm waiting for Jasper to get sprayed one too many times, not knowing wtf he's doing wrong, and spray dsps ps4. Declawed cats might act out even more as they get older. And no one in that house will learn how to REDIRECT his behavior (that's partially caused by someone chopping off his claws)

RIP Jasper

It's not like his fans are entitled to see it every once in a while, even if they paid $2k for it, it's part of Phil's personal life, therefore, none of your fucking business, stoopid!

Jasper better watch himself. He's now annoying both Dave and Kaht according to him. Don't be surprised in 6 months if Dave gases him or "accidentally" left a door open and he "just ran out so fast" and now a cat he had de-clawed has to fend for itself in the wild.
