Have we ever had an election where right at the last minute the presidential candidate becomes too ill to carry the office (or at least it can't be hidden any longer) or just plain fucking melts down in a bubbling gooey mass of protoplasm and reptile bones on National TV during a debate?

Would they try the bullshit ass "It was always Biden's dream to be President, he's only gonna live about 8 minutes longer, please elect him and fulfil the dream of him and his gay lover Cornhole Pop!" and then act like Biden isn't going to just explode into chunky salsa the minute his car hits a fucking speed bump.

Closest is probably 1872 where Horace Greely died after Election Day but before the Electoral College met and various electors pledged to him spread their votes out around various candidates (not that it mattered as Grant won in a landslide anyway)

That isn't the biggest problem, the biggest problem for why the Yellow Jacket protests failed before they began was that they were only on weekends, for two days each and that during the actual week, there was NONE.

This was because of the big little secret for why actual mass protest movements don't fucking work/why SJWs have hijacked them.

NORMAL PEOPLE? They fucking have jobs and families and shit and don't have the free time to spent 24-7 protesting. They can only protest on their days off (weekends) because they don't want to be fired for not showing up for work and face financial ruin as a result. While the average SJW faggot is unemployed or some form of "self-employed" and can spend weeks on end, protesting and rioting (see OWS; 99% of the people there were unemployed SJW types and college folks, many of which went to rich people schools where they don't automatically flunk you if you miss X-Number of classes).

Which ties to an other thing: you won't get honest to goodness mass protest to put the fear in (((the elites))) so long as people (even the poor) in the US, France, etc have it better than third world shitholes. So long as people are comfortable and have a decent life where they can get the basic needs of food, housing, and other normal life stuff you take for granted, they won't risk their jobs and financial security outside of token protest efforts that are explicitly planned so that they don't risk losing their cushy life.

I know several people who think everything out of MSNBC's mouth is the God's honest truth. When you get down to it, the only reason why they believe Trump is guilty of a crime is because the TV said so.

I think they WANT it to be true, and their media-of-choice "proves" it to them.

Like how Doom doesn't cause normal kids to worship Satan and shoot up thier school, but, a violent kid with a flavor for death and the occult will gravitate to games like it because it reinforces their existing worldview that blood and guts and demons are cool and blasting things with guns is the answer.

It's why the media has gone so bonkers, they think they can brainwash people when in reality the blindly loyal just need a daily hit of propaganda to assure them it's not THEY who are wrong, it's the children.

Hence why the MSM continues to be ignorant of WHY people support Trump, they look at all the crowds of loyal neolib/progressive voters and think "We did that, we made them stand up".
