Jesus fucking Christ look at how much effort they put into this goddamned article. Most of the articles on the Impeachment Party don't have even half of the effort they poured into showing you how many times Trump used big salt shakers. ... Wait, didn't we already have a Salt & Peppergate in like 2017?

Blarmpf insecure ahout his penis size intimidates guests with oversize salt shakers. Will this be the end of him? ~ CNN probably

So many people screech about how Trump is "unpresidential", but nobody seems to care about how many of the stories the media is printing out nowadays is un-newsworthy.

Seriously, who the fuck cares about this?

Well this just makes me want to vote for him more.

Are we sure the MSM aren't on his reelection committee?

So far their excuse seems to be that by virtue of being the President, literally everything Trump does is newsworthy.

Their real reason, of course, is "We're the Press, and we decide what's important. Period."

>The guy from the my pillow commercials
Lol nigga you're a failed "comedian" in a venue that's been slowly dying for over a decade now (late night comedy). You're bitching about a dude who's literally profiting from your epic failure.
Doesn't he still get 10 million views on all his videos? I think most of Gen X still watches late night comedy for news because they're too busy to look for any alternatives and are just cynical enough to know that 24h news is full of shit.

Edit: It's more like 500k-1.5M

Yeah back then they complained about the same thing plus that he had two scoops of ice cream versus the journalists(?) only getting one, while I think Pence had some fruit. The journos probably figure it's a weird power move when it's likely the kitchen staff just trying to be cheaper. Some journos had similar complaints back in 2017 when Trump visited the Eiffel tower to eat with Macron and his mommy wife since they had some mediocre food served up to them in some room below along with a bag of chips if I remember right.

The journos seemed fixated on this idea they were being mistreated by Trump in every way so they were even suspicious of the salt and pepper shakers they were getting.

edit: This was harder to find than I thought it'd be

You know if Trump had dined on a 5-course French gourmet dinner, the press would have complained that he was eating like King Louis the Sixteenth while all of the poor peasants of France were starving far below.

Remember when conservatives gave Obama shit about using Grey Poupon mustard?

That was dumb, but this is even worse, "Trump's salt shakers are too big!" are you fucking kidding me?

I hate the thought that this is just how it's going to be, the President is going to get unfair treatment no matter what, if they're Democrat they'll get unfair treatment from conservative media and if they're Republican they'll get unfair treatment from liberal media.

How about we treat our fucking Commanders in Chief with a level of respect and not worry about petty bullshit for a change?

They don't get treated like royalty, so they believe it's mistreatment. What's that phrase the #woke love to throw about? "When you're used to privilege, equality feels like oppression"?

Is 500k-1.5M really good though? Pewdiepie posted this a couple of hours ago and is already getting in that range and unlike late night comedians, his content isn't getting publicized on MSM all of the time. Both would be the top comedians in their realm, but clearly internet comedy is out performing TV comedy despite having a major disadvantage.

He routinely loses to some slobs in Milwaukee, a man afraid of manikins who play scary puppet games, and a man filming his couch in Norwich, UK.

Sad!

I legit do not. If you find that somewhere, let me know.

Of course part of the problem is what David French calls "nutpicking." (His one good idea lately.) With millions and millions of people on the internet & social media, the odds that you can find at least ONE person doing anything, anytime, is near 100%.

You probably wouldn't have to look far to find folks complaining a president's socks.

At this point, I like to imagine that Trump--or somebody on his staff--is such a brilliant troll that they intentionally gave him bigger salt and pepper shakers just to see if the TDS-afflicted press would rise to the bait.

I am perfectly okay with reducing government spending, especially on frivolous or non-essential expenses. Keeping a bunch of journos fed while they're on the job--most of whom think you're the absolute worst thing to happen to America since the Civil War, and whose minds will not be changed by feeding them well--is one expense I would be totally okay with cutting to the bone.

I got u fam. Here's a National Review article about it.

Basically, Obama went to some burger place in 2009 and got grey poupon on his burger. Sean Hannity, Lauren Ingraham and some guest on Rush Limbaugh thought it would be super smrt to dunk on Obama for his "elitist" choice of condiments. National Review tried to say it was Obama bribing/fraternizing with journos that was the real issue but the press had already been sucking his cock for a year or two by then.
