It's kind of a toss-up. My first thought is that at least these kids appear to be cognitively intact. Jani and Bodhi will likely never have anything like normal adult cognition.I don't yet think this is as bad as the Schofield case, only because the children are still cognizient and at the least aware of what's going on around them, while both Jani and Bodhi were developmentally stumped, and Bodhi was pretty much MIA mentally. Also I think it's a little soon to jump to accusing them of sexual abuse, which, as we saw raised and disproven in the Schofield case, may just be down to over-protectiveness and lack of boundaries.
A bunch of fairly normal looking kids, and they're putting the littlest on fucking Elavil? Amitriptyline is a first-gen tricyclic anti-depressant drug that not only gets adults ripped out of their fucking skulls long before it has any 'anti depressant' effect, but causes suicidal thoughts and actions in children because it's such a strong modifier of an immature brain chemistry! What the FUCK is her psychotic doctor even THINKING in giving that shit to Avehana??
Just found out now that this drug was discovered 80 years ago and they STILL don't fully understand it's mechanism of action. Fuck me. Munchie-enabling doctors are as bad as the MBP moms themselves.
Ehhhh, amitriptyline can be legitimately used for severe chronic headaches of certain types. IIRC they give a much lower dose for headache treatment than they do for psychiatric issues. How old is Ave, exactly? It's not at all unheard of to use tricyclics for headache prevention in teenagers. They're giving Avee that med to treat headaches. Idk what is being done to address Haleigh's mental health. Krissy doesn't talk about taking her to a counselor or a psychiatrist, which is odd considering she jumps at every other opportunity to take her kids to a doctor and treat every last little thing that might be wrong with them.
Remember, Avee has Celiac and if so, her intestines could have been damaged by eating gluten, leaving her less able to absorb nutrients.
Not my field of expertise, so forgive me. But surely there are physical repercussions to getting a permanent feeding tube installed? Like, if you are on one for a long time, wouldn't it impair your ability to eat normally years down the line?
Edited to add: I'm wondering the more I look at this lady if the tubes are actually doctor prescribed or if she bought them offline and put them in herself. Usually if a kid's going to have a tube for more than 3 months? Doctors do a surgical tube. This makes me think she wants them to keep the nasal tubes, doctors are onto her, or these were never medically prescribed.
She's got some Misty Henry levels of strawman creation going on there. You hit on something important, it would be much easier to deliberately starve a kid with a feeding tube. A kid would notice if her industrial gruel always tasted watery.Krissy is either getting a continuous stream of hatemail or she's reading the thread. Or both. The history on her facebook and the group show she regularly posts like this.

There's a post from July saying the new GI doc did not agree with the feeding tube approach and wanted to see Avee drinking the formula. Krissy was outraged by this, refusing to take the doctor's advice and continuing on with the useless feeding tube. What is she even putting ito it at this point if Avee isn't growing at all?

Both girls got the feeding tubes in Oct 2018. Looks like Haleigh got rid of hers during one of many brain surgeries in March 2019 - professionals probably noticed she had no trouble eating or drinking and yanked it.
I wonder if Krissy thought she had to make Avee drink that disgusting turkey dinner tube formula.
edit to add: How many brain surgeries does Krissy need to celebrate? And has she ever thought to ask her kids if they want to celebrate these traumatic events? No wonder Haleigh is struggling with depression, she's been medically traumatized repeatedly and mom just keeps throwing her parties and possibly putting her through a slideshow like it was a trip to the bahamas.

Edit to add: How often should an NG tube be changed?

Krissy's nightmare calendar is facebook memories.Makes me wonder if she has a big giant calendar full of her morbid and maimed munchie memories to cheer her up and spur her on each day.
Is this the standard of care for DCIS or any breast cancer?

[snip for length]
she posted about side effects from her Breast Cancer medication, though she never says what medication.

And would you look at that, breast cancer that didn't require radiation or chemo? Or is she implying she is taking oral chemo meds? I'm lost here. Is this the standard of care for DCIS or any breast cancer?

Agree. If I had to guess, maybe they found a possible tumor/something that was removed via lumpectomy, and now she’s taking tamoxifen. No chemo, no hair loss or anything that screams cancer patient, which is why she doesn’t bother with details. No asspats for a basic bitch cancer that won’t kill you. Not interesting enough without a surgery saga by herselfIf the calcifications have not spread beyond the m.ilk duct then chemo and radiation are not needed.
The only oral medication I can think of is tamoxifen. Which has a possible side effect of causing uterine cancer. Trade one cancer for the possibility of another.
