We're at the point now where--and I don't remember the exact numbers-- Trump has appointed at least 1/5th of the judges in the entire country, and that number's climbing every day. I can appreciate the fact that he didn't now, because it's been very beneficial to Trump's campaign, but if anyone on the Left wants to get angry about it, they should bitch at Obama for leaving so many vacancies.

Well, I say that, but we all know they'd immediately turn around and blame Mitch for it, even if Obama had complete control of the House and the Senate for half of his first term.

I can't help but feel that this is yet another case of the DNC figuring that the other side shares their approach and outlook to everything. Every single time the Democrats get into power, they legislate as if they were going to be in power forever. They take their time, fart around being smug and setting things up for the term after next, and give Democrat-controlled positions powers they would never, ever, ever want in the hands of a Republican. The idea that the Republicans would act as if they need to get as much done as possible to influence policy in their favor in a way that didn't rely on Republicans still being in power continuously for the next century apparently just doesn't occur to the Democrat brain.
