Infected Euphoric atheists

Some of Stenger argument are silly too:
  • If any being is God, he must be a fitting object of worship.
  • No being could possibly be a fitting object of worship, since worship requires the abandonment of one's role as an autonomous moral agent.
  • Therefore, there cannot be any being who is God.
I traced this argument to one James Rachels (in other words, Stenger is not even original). My take is that, whether you believe in God or not, it is a good thing to cast doubt on your ability to be an autonomous moral agent. Holding yourself morally sovereign is plain silly.

You guys ever watch Mike Winger?
He's a Christian Youtuber and he's so fucking humblesmug when it comes to blowing Atheists the fuck out.
I'll never be a christian, but this guy comes damn close to converting me.
A lot of these arguments that Atheists have been tossing out over the years, are certainly disputable when you look at the actual ancient history,
and the actual true translations of words and what-not.

It's incredibly fascinating, I binge watched a lot of this guys videos.
Here's one of him disputing AronRa.

Don't mention diaperfurs in his live stream chat, you'll get insta-banned.

He is taking the bible as literally in the few minutes I read it. I am no neckbeard atheist, but that's just retarded

  • Agree

Yeah he does that. He also worships Isreal and the Jews.

I don't agree with everything he says, but he knows his stuff when it comes to ancient history and language.

They have to teach something in Theology school, I guess.

*Sigh* How stupid do you have to be to enforce your own negative stereotype?

They do know you can make Thanksgiving completely secular, right? Because you can; the only big thing you leave out is the prayer at the beginning and it now becomes a good way to have family you don't see too often come and feast with you.

One could get the idea that atheist would eat babies which would no doubt miss whatever point an atheist would make. Then again, all this could do is end up as something to validate some crazy fundie in thinking atheist must be baby flesh eating monsters.

Not to mention, one could still be thankful on Thanksgiving without bringing in God or Jesus alongside having a good way to see family members that try to come over and pay a visit for nice meal.

This video is kind of old, I know, and it's not really about atheism or religion itself, but it's by an atheist youtuber and it broke my brain.

In my opinion, "free will" is still a useful legal concept, though, as even if free will is an illusion, not being able to do what you want in general does not make people very happy.

Edit: also, that's one of the best Youtube atheists, as he has formal theological training.

It's hard to justify punishing people for what they do, from a moral perspective, if they actually have no choice what they do anyway.

There is still no such thing as free will.

There are archaeological sites older than how old Young Earth Creationists think the world is.

Of course you can't actually scientifically disprove gods, but you can definitely disprove YEC.
Narrowly true, but so what? That's the bunny slope right alongside "disproving homeopathy."

(Though that is a trait common in euphorics: imagining that they're big brained nibbas because they managed to figure out some really pedestrian shit.)
