If he makes it to Japan, he's pretty much guaranteed to have a meltdown from being constantly "misgendered." His thread in the Rat King sub has been really slow lately, but it's definitely worth a read; that this guy managed to earn a PhD and land a tenure track teaching gig (which he had to leave due to having a mental breakdown) is a testament to how thoroughly fucked academia now is.

What is the $1200 for, exactly? From the posts, I suppose she was making tuition payments and couldn't afford to go. I guess that would cover the cost of a visa and plane ticket, but what does she expect after that? Being in the middle of a country that would probably report her to the police if they saw her trying to sleep on a park bench. Not a great start to the career

Troons created the alphabet soup. LGB used to be it -lady homos, male homos, people who like both. Nothing else. Only in the last decade has it exploded. Troons and the queer theory brigade begged until they gave in, and now the qweer troons are bent on destroying it. In many woke circles they only say TQ now, they’ve already ditched the rest.
