I'm going to disagree here, master of Nod. Not about Gennedy Wars being awesome, that I agree with.
The issue is not Ahsoka herself.
The issue is that once Ahsoka's main arc ended, Filoni realized she was a fan favorite, and kept bringing her back, ultimately undermining the entire point of her character, which was a tragic disillusionment in what she originally believed brought about by circumstance and mirroring Anakin's own failures later. No one would have any issue with her had she stuck to this character paradigm and simply not returned. Instead Filoni found ways to cram her into absolutely everything, taking everything remotely well-done or interesting about her character and using it to swing for the cheap seats.
Everything done with her from the end of her initial arc onwards has been desperately holding into her original success, and that's a travesty. There's some amazing character potential in how she was set up and none of it is used right because Filoni is too obsessed with riding her initial success to show restraint. That's not on Ahsoka as a character, that's on Filoni. And now that Disney Wars is in control, you can expect that she's going to be warped until she's just as awful and broken as the rest of the franchise.
Also Shaak Ti was objectively a more interesting character until Filoni focusing on Ashsoka caused her to be sidelined.

Well shit, he was behind the whole show. If it weren't for him it wouldn't have had anything to do with Anakin & Obi-Wan, though it presumably would've still been around the Clone War era.

The toy aisle for Star Wars has shrank massively. It seems like Toy Story has a bigger part of the aisle now. I remember as a kid going to Toys R Us and half of an aisle would be dedicated to nothing but Star Wars (which I hated, I always went to the G.I. Joe or Alien and Predator or Spawn toys sections). Even smaller stores would have a big chunk of the toy aisle dedicated to Star Wars not it's tiny little sliver of space next to Wrestling, Halo, Fortnite, Marvel, DC, and some other bullshit.

To be honest, I hated the whole banishment thing. I always thought it would've been far more impacting for her to die because of Anakin's own shortcomings, thus justifying her rather pointless existence and giving us a more effective reason as to why Anakin would fall to the Dark Side beyond manipulation, insanity and desperation. I honestly thought that would be the endgame, or have her come back for the purge on the Jedi Temple to die protecting the padawans and tragically fail, cementing Vader's own view of being beyond redemption even more, but instead Filoni just milks his waifu to the extreme, and then has her die at Vader's hand years later but then undoes that by introducing fucking time travel of all things like a complete wuss who can't let a single favorite character of his fucking die. It just makes Ahsoka's entire existence feel pointless with no payoff, just a thirdwheel who's their for merchandise, like a Jar Jar who's not retarded. Preferably for me, the best way to deal with her was having her die at Dooku's hands because of Anakin's own shortcomings which made him fall further to the Dark Side and would've resulted in a very emotional and impacting end for her. Something like holding her in his arms as she's dying, trying to tell her everything's going to be okay, and all she can say is that she's scared because she's so young before finally dying. That's the kind of shit that would help to darken his soul.

The Fortnite/Star Wars event was an unmitigated disaster. Nobody was able to connect to the servers and even the EPIC launcher wasn't working. It's fascinating how Nu-Wars wrecks everything it touches, even products from completely different companies.

That was probably the worst thing that came about because of Ahsoka. Shaak Ti was one of the most popular jedi characters, so much so she appeared in a slew of content and her death from the ROTS deleted scenes was retconned and she was made a boss in Force Unleashed, but then Filoni recanonizes her death in the final season of Filoni Wars because we can't have two Togrutas running around.
On a minor note, it always sort of bugged me how Ahsoka doesn't look like any other Togruta. She has shorter horns, shorter head tails, and her eyes look completely human and she lacks the traditional white eye markings all other Togrutas have over the eyes.

That bugged me too, I understand they wanted to make her more expressive, so they changed the eyes, They changed Shaak Ti eyes to more human like in the show too btw. but I still personally like her with more alien eyes.

She was originally gonna be called Ahsla, but they changed it cause there was a torguta child already called that in the films and they didn't want to add any more confusion. Also they went back and forth with her eyes.
Also Filoni Wars was gonna be closer to Star Wars Rebels, until George said he wanted it to be More about Anakin and Obi-wan, and the grand scheme of the war and it's effect on the Jedi.

I haven't seen any TV spots for episode IX. Strangely I have been seeing a new commercial for Galaxy's Edge playing the last few days. Vi Moradi has a few lines in it, which is retarded because who even knows who she is? Using Kelly Marie Tran would make more sense.
