I am betting that if this does go past appeals, there will be some very pissed off people directed at marzgurl. Jamie I bet feels Marzgurl should be the one suffering here, not her. She feels Marzgurl is more responsible for the problems Vic is facing than she is, especially as you can see her trying to say "I got sued for saying he pulled my hair" to make it sound trivial compared to starting a campaign(#kickvic) to deperson, deplatform, and make destitute a man with slander and libel.

What the burning bush fails to realize is that even if armzgurl started it, she cultivated it and make it worse. She is being sued for more than just a hair pulling claim. Also the fact that she has probably caused more damage initially(which seems to be getting repaired just from initiating a lawsuit) with her maliciously lying about encounters, more than likely committing civil conspiracy, and actively defaming him. Not to mention that jurisdiction makes it easier to grab her, so even if they were equally liable, she is easier to get to without arguments over jurisdiction.

Maybe you could see "I like your hair!" as Vic enthusiastically strokes it to be somehow sexual. That should be up to a jury to decide, but I guess a judge can rule that the two parties simply perceived the same event differently.

What you can't equivocate is saying Vic grabbed her hair and wrenched her head back. He utterly denied that.

If the limit of the lawsuit against Jamie is "I said he pulled my hair", then the limit of what she has against Vic is that he pulled her hair. Is that valid cause to get him fired from his job and ostracized from the community (and to "want his head & balls")?

True, Vic can't legally force anyone to employ him. It's an option for settlement, though.

And even then, I think Vic realizes Funimation is a snake pit. What he really wants is a paper, either from the jury verdict or from Funimation as part of a settlement, saying, nah the investigation didn't find any sexual harassment, and we just fired Vic because lol at will.

He can take that statement, along with the fans who have proven via the GFM they will spend money for Vic, to other places like Sentai or Bang Zoom or conventions and say hey, these things were lies. You need a voice actor?

Plus getting the at least 1 million he can sue for will certainly help; and since none of them complied with the TDMA requests; the damages can sky rocket if a jury finds defamation in Vic's favour.

I think some Kiwis are using him as a meme at this point. He was dumb enough to threaten to sue Vic’s fans who called him a liar. The reason he’s being called a liar is because his affidavit was extra flaky. It read like a stupid fanfic. Dude is extra thirsty for Vic’s attention sometimes tagging him more than once in Twitter threads. Before this he seemed to have some weird crush on Vic as evidenced by his tweets. He’s destroyed his own credibility.
