Soooo where did all the fundraiser money actually go?

Is he only paying interests on interests right now?

Did he fuck up his debt by not paying over the minimum amount and by keep buying new stuff as the credit card limits got increased?

I seriously hope he scammed his paypigs for 8 years straight just to drive a Lambo next year while the bank forecloses his homes and he has to live in a 2-seat car while streaming with his phone.

So what is this letter you lot are tracking exactly? And how is it its been well over two weeks and hasn't been delivered?

Go to the court case link. In one of the documents, the bank details how it is serving all the defendants. In Phil's case, the demand letter was sent via certified mail. The tracking number was included. That's what is being tracked. As for why it hasn't been delivered (apparently), your guess is as good as mine. I theorized that the lack of a unit number could be causing confusion, but that seems unlikely.

Definitely; Even past the fact not going prevents his side from making any possible argument in his favour, I also doubt courts like being snobbed and having their time wasted like that.
The bitching and flailing about “not being able to stream, dood!” will be glorious. The best part is that he has admitted on video that he chose to do this and that he will accept the consequences. Dave can’t blame the trolls, the detractors or Tevin. Dave has no one to blame but himself. Not that he’s not going to try to blame it on others.

Isn't this exactly what he said he was going to do?

Does foreclosing force him to commit bankruptcy chapters of some kind?

This is what I'm wondering. If he said he would do this already, where's the "exposed/gotcha" moment that will milk some sweet sweet rage out of him as he fumbles to explain this away to his paypigs? Is it because the outcome is nowhere near what he thought it would be and he's going to have to end up paying either way?

I'm just trying to envision what his reaction to this will be. I feel like he's just going to say "uhh yea, I already said I was going to do that!" and ban/ignore anyone who brings up specifics. Don't get me wrong, I'm really hoping and 🙏 for more but unless I'm missing something here, I feel like the reaction will be lukewarm.

If anything, I feel like he'll never admit to how wrong he was about the outcome of this and we'll see him suffering the consequences in the form of more begging for vague and cryptic reasons followed by eventually him blowing up on his fanbase saying they "don't need to know why" and that if they like what he's doing, just shut up and donate.

Parental intervention at this point seems unlikely. Even just 30K is potentially 6 months' salary to bail out your fuck-up son, again, and its at a point in your life where you're trying to finalize your retirement. At some point I have to imagine the people who made DSP into DSP will cut him loose and save themselves.

There's no way his parents would have agreed not paying his mortgage was a good idea, so I think he's going to hit them up to save him at a point where he can skew the truth favorably for himself. If he does, I think that'ls it for ma and pa Burnell bailing him out. Phil's Ten Year Plan was really about 9 months.

On the CWC timeline, this reminds me of the Snyder Incident where they ended up squandering all the money Bob left them on legal fees almost immediately after he died. He'll get out of it, but the damage going forward will mount faster and faster.
I’m laughing imagining him talking to his parents about this like he did with the Wolverine toy. “I TOLD YOU. TO COVER. THE MORTGAGE! WHY DON’T YOU LISTEN TO MEEEEEEE!?”

I always assumed that that type of stuff was delivered by a courier. Court summons and documents usually require someone to receive in person so that it is verified delivered. I have not had to deal with foreclosure, but my father was summoned and a guy in plain clothes delivered to me after asking my name (we share the same name). Maybe he just has to sign for it?? But still, the man never leaves the house. The fact that it's Christmas time could be delaying the package.

It depends on how much you want to pay. A process server / courier demands a higher price and the basic USPS system is generally good (despite all the shit that happens). Slight power level, I got sued in small-claims court. Had a little green sheet in my mailbox, go to the post office, post office asks for my ID and then I put my John Hancock on a form saying I have officially taken possession of this letter. Meaning, I could not claim ignorance if a ruling was made in my absence.

I can't say what Phil's problem is, but he either didn't get the green card or is purposely ignoring it. We don't know for certain, but we're all thinking the same thing.

As an aside; for all you big brain legal kiwis. So let's just say the forclosure happens and he ends up owing that hypothetical 30-40K to the bank. In the event of having this happen, is the bank generally lenient on letting you on a payment plan to even try and recoup the loss, or are they in full "Fuck you, I want my money" mode. Or is that something for the courts to decide?

He may be waiting for a "day off" to run the card to the post office. I wouldn't be in any huge hurry to get it either lol.

Used to work for a bank, granted it was here in Canada so the rules are different I'm sure, but it was pretty much "pay us now or you're fucked"
They could put a lein against his current property so he can't sell or refinance until he pays what he owes.

The court and your lawyer will generally come up with agreed terms. In an amount this high, a payment plan will almost be guaranteed.

I don't know how it works with that potential amount, but if Phil doesn't get his bank account tapped and siphoned, and he keeps from paying, the bank will just sell the debt to less savory collectors. Phil can worm his way out of paying, but his phones will be blowing up as they call to collect. For a guy that values peace of mind, he's going to call it gang stalking or something.

The silver lining is that the second owner of the debt may be willing to cut a deal, or even the bank itself, and he could get what he wanted (debts killed at significant discounts). Even settling hits your credit report though, and he's going to have credit problems more than cash problems due to this.

I'm not a fan of theory crafting but fuck me am I hyped for next years season boys.

This is something Phil can't ban, mute or block. He will face this, and he will lose. He will pay what they want and more because of other fees.

Other things that have potential to happen to Phil next year are also:
  • Possibly losing YouTube channel due to harassment / child content
  • The FTC thing where Phil admited to not disclose when he gets free games
So hyped, maybe finally some karma.

I hope his stupid paypigs see how Phil lies to them daily. I'm enjoying this so much, more so when I remember all the times he bragged about the food he's eating, the condo he lives in and how often he humble bragged about his life.

Fingers are crossed.

He seems to be playing it off like it isn’t a big deal right now. Chances that his parents are already taking care of this?

Also, Does anyone know if his parents were co-signers on the condo because if so... this is bad for them as well.

Maybe I'm ignorant cause I had parents who actually taught me how to be financially responsible, but I want to believe that no good parent, unless exceptionally wealthy, would just give up that kind of money as a gift for their idiot child. Sooner or later Phil's parents are gonna have to realize that they can't keep bailing out their son and continue to enable his immature lifestyle.

They might be able to help, but I doubt they could take care of it if it's in the 30-40k range.

Again, having to power level, but I've been inside his parents' house I think twice, and I know the area he lives in. I know the 'mean streets of CT' is a meme, but he's not entirely lying about the area he lived in not being great. Bridgeport itself has always been high crime (there was a period where it was routinely in the top 10-15 worst cities for crime per capita) and it's only like 55% white, and the vast majority of those people live on the other side of Bridgeport, close to the town of Fairfield which is much nicer and has far, far less problems with crime, much nicer schools, etc. Where Phil lived, if you go a half mile in one direction down the main road you're in one kind of ghetto. You go a half mile the other direction and there's small blocks of abandoned houses that get squatted in and turned into crack dens. He wasn't lying about that.

So, being the area they're in, unless his parents were hoarding cash for retirement, I don't imagine them having a lot put away to 'take care' of something like this. Nobody with 30k to toss at problems would willingly live in that part of Bridgeport, they'd live in the nicer part on the north side with all the other white people.

In all scenarios, the bank wins (most likely by default because he, his lawyer or an agent wont turn up) because its ironclad

Scenario A:
Bank takes possession of property. Bank takes a loss and doesn't pursue him for the rest. He has to pay taxes on the difference as its deemed income

Scenario B:
Court looks at his income and says to stop being a bitch and pay his mortgage. Bank gets paid what its owed (from when he stopped paying + fees + costs) and he is still on the hook for the rest of the mortgage

Scenario C:
Bank forecloses on the property and pursues him for the rest. Now heres where a US legal expert should come into it. AUS law doesnt like turfing people out of their homes, but he doesnt have 30-40k in assets (including junk like TVs) to pay the rest. He MAY lose his WAkhando over this. The positive is, after a few rough months, he could find a place to rent with MUCH LOWER costs and live there, building his bank account (keeping what is left over from the liquidity of the WAkhando minus the 30-40k) and buy a new place in a few years with 0 debt. He could very well pigroach his way to this outcome. He makes 100k+ remember, low costs of living in a rented place means he could buy a place in 7 years (when credit is back to normal) with most (if not all) of the purchase price from his bank account. This implies he knows how to save and not splurge but you know.

On a side note, I'd actually love to sit in on these proceedings (law student). And I bet other Kiwis would too. Taking bets on detractors rocking up with tablets and a long list of timestamps proving his income, the contempt he holds towards the bank (and courts) and his stupid spending habits to show the court. What an absolute shit show if that ever happened.
