People who stop paying a mortgage and go into foreclosure typically live in the home in question, sometimes for months to years until the foreclosure finishes and they are officially booted out (short sales work in similar ways).

That isn’t the case with Phil and makes thing a little more interesting from the bank’s end and the court’s end. This isn’t a deadbeat (by money standards not life standards) who has no money.

A lot of people are convinced nothing major will come of this but people are underestimating how vicious a bank can be when you owe them money. Especially when you make over $10,000 a month.

The fact that he’s ignoring and mass banning anyone who talks about this I believe is proof this is serious. Don’t be surprised if we get some choice gin tweets in the coming days.

If Phil can't beg up the money to satisfy the bank's initial request of $15,000 (and knowing him he will, or his parents will pay it) they're not going to let him just not pay the difference between what he owes and the short sale. If he really has an IRS payment plan, at the very least he's going to add another payment plan on top of that. When they see what he makes, that won't be a tiny payment either.

But it's DSP, he'll weasel out somehow and life will go on.

Chris' cases are probably the best one to compare it to since they bothrevolve around money payments, but for Chris' the Public Defenders always fell back on him being an austic manchild to dismiss the case, and Chris is living on his tugboat really means no one would get anything out of it.

Phil meanwhile has a job, is making money, and willingly not making payments on his mortgage. They'll pull up the money he makes from Twitch in court (oh god please include the tips) and that's going to be something harder to waive since he's a normal functioning person, he's just neglectful. That's the shit prosecutor's LOVE gunning for.

I'm somewhat shocked Phil's pay pigs think this is either made up, or simply a mistake.

I would lose my shit if I gave money to some 37 year old loser, who kept doing fundraisers for 2,000$ or 1,800$, asking me for money just so his lazy ass can survive, only to find out he wasn't paying his bills and is spending the money on god knows what.
His pay pigs are really top, top exceptional. They keep saying how we're lying about him, how we make shit up, and when they are presented with proof they wave it away.

Has he really been saying 'i need your money to pay off bills and the CT condo'? Fucker has been really tight-snouted about revealing anything lately,

PS: is Dave really now gonna be in the hole $30-50k for the CT mortgage outstanding balance IN ADDITION to like, $~100k of credit card debt?

Phil has not claimed to be paying the mortgage. In fact in April he said he was going to tell the bank to fuck off and he won't pay. Many of us thought he was bluffing.

The real brain teaser is the mortgage was somewhere between $1200 and $1500 a month. Let's say Phil had stopped paying after he got back from Connecticut like he said. That's about 8 missed payments. That's about $10,000 that Phil has saved by not paying. Yet he kept saying his bank account was overdrawn, he doesn't have $60 to buy a game, he wanted to keep DJRuno's Goose Game donation money and not play the game, he couldn't get Kat anything more than a hamburger for her birthday. Meanwhile he had an extra thousand dollars from not paying his mortgage.

The week before Halloween Phil came out begging for $1800 he was unable to say what it was for. Trust him, he needed it. If he didn't get the $1800 his credit would be ruined and everything he worked so hard for would be lost. His viewers came out and gave him the money. The whole time he was ignoring his mortgage, ruining his credit, and destroying his plans for the future all by himself behind the scenes.

Collectors items arent excactly rare, and open ones that been collecting dust and grease for a decade even less so.

Phill fell for the marketing scheme thinking it has value because they are collector items, but in truth all of his statues are from very popular franchises that is gonna keep producing junk like that for decades to come.
If you want a statue of Scorpion from MK you can probably pick and choose from dozens off different variants, brand new for the same price he would charge for his broken one.
