Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

It's funny that people criticize the sequel trilogy but these same people praise the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy. No, they're all cliche and trite. George Lucas himself calls them a Soap opera. You only like Star Wars because Hollywood has gaslit you and you can't recognize a good movie anymore.

These movies are cliche beyond belief, they are not art. Star Wars has never been anything more than propaganda designed to make money, Star Wars has never been art and never will be art, and this is more obvious now but it was always true.

Troll harder biotch

Did someone say they wanted to watch a plank of wood make out with an emo crybaby? No?
Well, you'll have to watch it anyway!

Well let us discuss what number would be a failure, This is the end of a New Trilogy of one of the Most Beloved Franchises of all time, a Sequel Trilogy that has been talked about in nerd circles for generations.

What Number is a real failure? 70% would be a C..that makes it average passable. Is the ending of this Trilogy being barely passing truly a victory for the people who made it?

It's not so much the number they get but rather what numbers they don't seem to get - if that makes any sense. Critics shower this movie with mediocre results and I assume they are even being generous while doing this. The movie is a flop, we knew that, but even critics don't mitigate the movie. I was expecting full 90% fresh rating out the gates, but reviews aren't like that. The movie is hovering just under the 60% margin as of now.

Might it be Disney is not shelling out money to shills to defend this turd?
The score is pretty useless to check a movie's quality, but it is a decent measurement to look how far a company is to go to support their product. And I don't see much support in form of paid shills as of now and that really fucking surprises me.

I feel bad for the people who are paying to see this I really do.
You don't have to be. A fool and his money are easily parted.

So what did Rian say to J J after the 3rd movie got handed to him?

They expect one of us in the wreckage, brother

I don't think they would remake OT, it's too ingrained and would go over worse than their live action remakes of classic disney films because not even china would fucking buy tickets.

They really need new stuff to draw people in, and it can't be side stories like Shadows of The Empire because if people hate the ending to Episode 9 it will taint the whole franchise just like the final season of game of thrones did.

They're going to need to start back at the end of ROTJ that's the only real way forward.
People would actually bomb Disney’s shit if they tried to remake the OT. A lot of people here, IRL, and probably within the Rat would probably help. It’d be like remaking Gone with the Wind, a Kubrick movie, or anything from Chaplin. There are things that even the human refuse in Hollywood probably blanch at.

I rewatched TLJ a couple days ago and its fucking unreal how bad she is. She can't even keep her accent under control consistently.
