I would love to see that happen, I went through some things and if their moderation team gave a shit he'd be out in a heartbeat. Sadly Hassan is protecting him, so less a way is found to go above Hassan there is no real way to get Phil off Twitch.

Pretty much without a proper Twitch contact or some strong partners from Twitch making a stink about Phil, he’s not going anywhere no matter what he does.

Hassan’s behavior also warrants some action but there is no way to go about that either. Despite his job title he seems to do nothing. Twitch pays him to do nothing.

Why does Phil need a strategy guide? Wasn't this a game that he knew very well? Even if it wasn't why can't he just experience the game?

He's just found a 25 years old guide ? Like what, are we talking him having a 25 years old bookmark on his computer, the printed guide still being in his house somewhere after moving twice ? Am I the only one thinking he just couldn't be bothered with reading the thing in advance or in secret anymore and just found this "Oh yeah, I totally still have it from 25 years ago, it's nostalgia dood" excuse to use it right on stream ?

I’d assume he’s referring to one of the nice Brady Games official strategy guides they put out for every Final fantasy game back in the 90s.

Tevin did a back in time stream last night and watched a video of Phil in 2011 going through his strategy guides. He discussed the FFVI guide and mentioned how rare it was.

Today, DSP mentions said strategy guide. This nigger watches Tevin streams.

FF6 is the perfect game for someone like Phil. It's painfully easy, yet has a ton of advanced techniques and game mechanics you never need to learn and can skip over.

Basically the equivalence of Mid stance mashing square with a single type of weapon (spear) through the entire game of Nioh even with a garbage build of spreading his attribute point equally to every category.

Sounds like right in DSP's wheelhouse

I believe he admitted to spending thousands on that WWE Supercard game (or it was estimated based on his WWE Supercard forum comments), and that's the only one we really know about. If he was playing others...then could easily get to tens of thousands, but that's purely speculative.
This guy was pulling in how much at his peak?

Interest payments on his condos only goes so far. Im legitimately perplexed as to what it was spent on. Im not saying he spent 100k on mobile games, but it went somewhere

You know I can't really fault DSP for using a guide in a replay of one of his "favorite" games (which I think he just says for clout). There is nothing wrong with using a guide to find everything you can in an RPG more so one you've already beat (and recently too). That said there is a massive difference between using the guide to find a few hidden side items, and using it as a crutch to walk you through every part of the game.

Gee, I wonder which way DSP will use his guide?

Most of his "fans" don't tip him that much, they just watch him and tip occasionally. The people who donate often and big have issues, namely:
"The Savior Complex

The savior complex can be best defined as “A psychological construct which makes a person feel the need to save other people. This person has a strong tendency to seek people who desperately "need help" and to assist them, often sacrificing their own needs for these people.”

The underlying belief of these individuals is: “It is the noble thing to do." They believe they are somehow better than others because they help people all the time without getting anything back. While motives may or may not be pure, their actions are not helpful to all involved. The problem is that trying to "save" someone does not allow the other individual to take responsibility for his or her own actions and to develop internal motivation. Therefore, the positive (or negative) changes may only be temporary."

This is why these kinds of people usually tend to donate near the end of the goal times, to be the savior that rushes in and save the day.
But why would you want to save Phil instead of people who can actually budget? Phil could probably receive $1,000,000 at once and still be in debt the next month.

Pokémon X/Y and Let’s Go playthroughs when? These would also be perfect games for Phil. IIRC, he never had a Pokémon faint in Omega Ruby after receiving the Mega Latios. You also have to wonder why he seems so averse to playing Kirby nowadays.

I also seem to remember him saying he dumped cash in one of the Marvel mobile games. Not sure if it was Puzzle Quest, Future FIght, or Contest of Champions, but he did some serious bitching about the random item grants that you can buy for the in-game premium currency.

He's the perfect target for mobile games. He's too impatient to advance through his own effort and to wait for the freebies these games release periodically. He also has the attention span of a toddler with severe ADHD after eating an entire birhday cake and gallon of ice cream by himself.

Do you think Phil ever actually seriously thought he'e join the east coast fgc scene, the larger version of his life's only actual hobby?
That’s a good question and honestly hard to tell what was truly going through his mind around the big move. It’s like once he got out there he just lost all desire to ever leave his house, it’s really quite sad to see a guy go from having a bunch of friends over to play fighting games before he moves to....this. I can’t imagine not having a single friend in the damn state I live in, the dude just has nobody besides a girl he guilt tripped into marrying and his parents.

I'm really, really hoping it'll be this one:

It's the proof that he has always been his worst enemy.
He clearly was an "ok" enough dood at some point where he had friends that probably didn't hate him.

Phill don't understand that you start losing contact with people when you move across country, instead he feels that they backstabbed him and was envious he moved to "better" things and thats why they didn't contact him.
This is why he don't want friends because he is affraid they will just "betray" him again, like Rambo and Howard did.

Holy fuck I'm surprised the shit music he put on during break didn't empty out his channel. Then again the normal songs are no better so hey, people are just used to the ear fucking.

In the vlogs when he Phil & Leanna were searching apartments, Phil went on about how he could now go to conventions and such in Seattle that he never could before.

But, deep down, Phil always knew moving to Renton was a terrible idea. He could never afford living there. His Youtube earnings were already on the decline by late 2013 when he committed to moving. In his vlogs around then, that's when he really amped up the begging to the pathetic beggar he is today. Phil had to do it to convince Leanna to live with him, remember that they were "off and on" basically until Phil committed to moving.

Phil finally had tangible proof of what he so desperately portrays himself as until this day... ADULT. Adults are too busy to hang out with friends or do gaming shit. Adults have strict schedules that they must adhere to. Adults have significant others and families to raise.

It will be fun to watch reality finally crush Phil's belief that he's an adult. I think he'll completely lose it.

Edit: Not gay ops, I went through their rules and TOS, looked for why partners got banned and tried looking for similar stuff.

My theory is he's paying off Hassan. That would explain where the money goes, why Hassan insists there's nothing he can do despite it being his alleged job, AND why Phil gets away with stuff even most thots deep throat a ban for.

Because he never learned that it's okay to fail due to how hideously spoiled he was.

He once blamed a bottling company for overfilling his bottle of water when he accidentally spilled it. He will lose it and child tantrum all while trying to put the blame on everything else.
