Sometimes I wonder why I'm so obsessed with Bob.
Unfortunately, for him, his life is the perfect storm.
First, he had 2 imbeciles as parents who were probably also raised by imbeciles.
Obviously, he's mentally disabled to some degree, and finally at some point in his life, he's bought into this religion bullshit.

When you think about his situation, his only hope out of this train wreck that is his life, is a magic sky fairy to make it all better in the end. Can we really blame him? What other hope does he have?

Maybe it says something negative about me, but I can't wait to see this guys life fall apart. Just when you think he can't be any more of an idiot, he comes through. Bob is truly the perfect example of the Dunning Kruger Effect.

Unfortunately this can't go on much longer. Both Bob and Rene are very close to a medical tragedy. Walking out and picking up a piece of roofing and carrying it to his porch almost put him into cardiac arrest. And he's probably in better shape than Rene.
If their bodies don't fail them, something else is right around the corner. We all see it coming, don't we? His trailor could be condemned, or his furnace could break for good. The pissantmobile will eventually not be drivable any longer.
Maybe the most likely scenario is Rene being removed from the situation, leaving him with half his income and forced into a different living arrangement.
2020 will be interesting. It could be our last year to enjoy Robert. I'll miss him when its over.

I dont know why they dont sign up for HUD program. They could say they seeep seperate, and get a two bedroom, or if they say together the law allows a one bedroom. Rent would be anywhere from 25 to 40 a month and they would get help paying other bills. I'm shocked they really haven't looked into that because just getting out of the germ infested, broken down leaking and broken trailer, that more than likely could be condemned. Plus it would be better on their health to leave and they might be able to move around more or find a place they really like.

Heck, in my area they GIVE trailers away, you just have to move them out of the park they are in and go. It might be wise for him to pay a truck to move one and have a upgraded free trailer. It's like their mental compascaty dont grasp things and I kinda wonder how both of them are allowed to live alone without people check in.

My takeaways from this video:

I do want to reassure Bob on one point. He says there are people out there that think “nothing is wrong with [him]” and thus he should be able to work. I don’t think anyone has ever said that.

How long do you think it would take RLM to take 1 nice HUD rental and turn it into a germ infested, broken down, leaking home? RLM cannot get any form of income - he's so deep in student loan debt, that if he did, they'd all reactivate and require him to pay them off, along with all of the accrued interest.

preacher/televangelist - if he really had a doctoral degree in his subject, he'd have no problem finding a church to pastor in rural Ohio

first responder - he was certified as an armed security guard - in the early 90s, it has long since expired, but he still plays dress up in his uniform shirt - and he spends time with his "padio" patrol - he has gotten in trouble with the Red Cross for pretending to be a volunteer, and he claims he's with FEMA because he did advanced Skywarn training (I'm familiar with basic Skywarn training, it's a storm spotter training lecture from the National Weather Service - you just have to fill out some paper work and sit in on a lecture - there isn't even a test)
