You know, when Lisa Page didn't talk, there was at least an air of mystery and a benefit of the doubt. Now that she's stepped out in front of the cameras, the illusion is sort of ruined. To perfect your analogy, the Senate will conduct a trial based on presented evidence. The investigation should have already been done, but the Nadler Judiciary Committee completely shirked their responsibility, which is why these articles are so pitiful. Sending the Judiciairy Committee's work to the full House is like sending a list of charges to a grand jury. That grand jury then decides on whether to send those charges to trial. The Senate will conduct that trial a come to a verdict. Which, once again given the absolutely pathetic job the Judiciary Committee did, an acquittal is almost assured.

These phrases are supposed to have some kind of meaning, but we're not sure what they are.

One thing I've really enjoyed about all of this, from 2016 til now is how some of the Republicans picked up a bit of a knack for shitposting online, though the kicker is that Trump is 73 years old and picked up on this way better and much faster than guys younger than him. The Dems have tried, especially the younger ones like AOC, but the fact the left can't meme or adapt to humor very well makes it fall flat.
