Having spent many years in the foster care system, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I REALLY hope CPS steps in. I've met several absolutely wonderful people who became foster parents because, even though they would be great parents, they are unable to have kids of their own. I'm sure there are people that would give the kids what he refuses to give them: Love, affection, encouragement, and stability.

I think it's better to have them stay with Taylor's family or Greg's sisters. As far as I know, Taylor is a wannabe broken girl from a broken family. Except her family is likely not even abusive.

I'm willing to bet money her family isnt abusive. Her fucking dad hated Grong so much she had to run away and marry him in secret. You dont have to have too many braincells to figure out hes a psycho but at least that means you're probably not a psycho yourself if you can see it and hate him. Plus they're apparently rich, theyd be able to actually feed the kids who had to watch their daddy throw all the money away on lawsuits and cars.

It would be typical: "They hate me, therefore they're the assholes, and that is the narrative I will promote, because I have the platform and the brain-dead fans to do so." And, if his prisoner has escaped (plus, looking down a double-barrel of child support), that could be part of the cause of any breakdown, and he's got too many eyes on him right now to surreptitiously find a new victim...though there still seems to be a bank of willing idiots out there.

She wanted to have issues with her family, even if they were nice to her. It's a common sort of teenage rebellion, which most people grow out of, but like many have said before, Lainey's still very childish. And Grue's purposefully helped her to stay that way; partly because he has a kink for teenagers, partly because it makes it easier to turn her against her family and cut her off from them. Helps play into his stupid gothic romance "it's us against the world, they cannot accept our love" narrative too.

Lainey has always been a spoiled, lazy cunt. In a weird way her sense of entitlement is or at least at one time was almost as big as Grugly’s. That’s why their house never gets cleaned unless one of their teenage victims does it, or in the past Crazy Tami came over and did it (before she and Gunt had their falling out), because it was beneath Princess Lainey, “MRS. ONISION” to do grunt work like that.

Also, random thought: whatever happened to Lainey’s friend Selena? I mean, I’m sure that ultimately Gunt wouldn’t allow that friendship anymore because he didn’t find Selena fuckable enough, but she just kind of disappeared.

Quick correction, Crazy Tami didn't do their cleaning; it was Taylor's Mexican granny that cleaned every visit. Because of course a great grandmother wants to spend her vists with the great grandchildren cleaning out of sheer horror.

I don't think grande abuela has been over to the swamp shack yet. They don't have a guest room any more.

Lain had a crazy boyfriend before Greg, I mean "kill her and hide her body in the wall" crazy. She was terrified of him and claimed he use to stalk her, he certainly use to rant about her on FB. She claims it was Onion who made any attempt to protect her and after they married a restraining order was placed on the ex. I always wondered if Lainy was so scared of him why didn't her family do more? Were they ever told? And if there is a bit of animosity toward them because they didn't protected her and Greg did? It also explains her devotion to Greg because he was a step up (at the time) from her EX (James?) I can't stress enough that he was batshit crazy.

But DID she, or was it a "oh, my fair white knight rescued me!" bunch of bullshit? Has there been any PROOF this ex existed? We can believe a thing they say. If they said it was sunny, I'd have to look at the sky for myself.

This is early stuff, I'm talking PULL 1.0 or maybe when the other farms was fairly new. At the time farmers were able to find the restraining order and screen shots of the EX were posted, that's why I can say he was insane. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can find the RO? It was filed like in the first year of their marriage. I'm not sure What the Ex's name was because it was crossed out in the screen shot but I think it was James. Is anyone else here from around that time? I feel like a lot of information about Lainy's background seems to have slipped through the Onion Saga.
