Maybe occasionally pressure major porn sites that re-upload it with copyright strikes. The video would've been relegated to the fringes of the Internet, shared on a person-to-person basis on places like /gif/, with most people being unaware of the backstory.

The fact that they made this a DMCA claim of a personal nature, using the person's initials seems like such an utterly stupid oversight to me. Surely, if you went through all this trouble in the first place, it can't be that difficult to tie the actual copyright to something that can't be directly traced back to you, or am I missing something here? Couldn't they have fabricated some bullshit LLC to own the rights to the video in order to divert attention away from their daughter's name, you know, the entire fucking reason why you even did all this shit to begin with?

Lol, good luck getting a bunch of tube sites run in eastern eurpean shithole countries to respect a DMCA complaint. It’d be whack-a-mole to get rid of it. You know, what with the way the internet is set up, porn probably has thin margins. Forget trying to get people to buy your latest star's full video gallery or deal with setting up cam shows- just find a slut from a repressed family, make something depraved that satisfies her need for revenge and mortifies the parents, then offer to sell them the copyright for a few million dollars.
