I love the OG Spoony material, 2007-2009. As soon as he joined TGWTGs his content started to dive, but there were good stuff here and there. You can tell when he was being influenced when he started using "OF COURSE". And Insano, bleh.

2008 Spoony was must watch entertainment for me. He's the only let's player that made me play games like Phantasmagoria and SWAT, just because watching him was fun. The MST3K for gaming gimmick wasn't for everyone, but I loved it. A lot more than the played out shit fuck humor that AVGN and everyone else was doing then.

When he joined TGWTG... the collabs every video with dorks I didn't care about... long skits that seemed forced... and then his ego started coming out and never stopped.

And now, I'm just waiting for Spoony's terrible death. Sadness abound.

Realising that and making the first move is actually harder than the journey itself.
All in all he's in a decent position - he has a house (that he should be able to keep if he actually talks the issue out and starts making payments from even a minimal wage job), he still has fans that will cheer on him if he starts to try to fix his shit, and he's not stupid (I mean general intelligence, nigga's not a wise man). He could be comfortably middle class in 5 years, even if he doesn't try to revive his YouTube career. If he does and on top of working somewhere, which is essential for his sanity, he starts making material every 2-3 months? If wager he'd be back yup within a year.

I wish him well and I welcome the surprise, but I'm certain he'll just wallow in self pity and despair untill the end.

Also, I think at this point his "career" is nonredeemable. His past fame has decayed so much that wouldn't be that great an advantage and YouTube has change so much that I don't think the content he made before would get anywhere. It is also more hostile toward smaller channels, which is where he is now.

The world has moved on, and it would be good if he did too.
