TGWTG The Spoony One / Spoony / Noah Antwiler and Rachel Baker / @RaeAngel07 - The touching romance between a washed-up videogame reviewer throwing a decade-long pity party and his delusional Canuck stalker. #weaknotsick #donttellmehowtosulk

What we don't know is that by "she" he means his dog.

Even his orbiters are cracking the whip! Happy holidays, everybody.

Realising that and making the first move is actually harder than the journey itself.
All in all he's in a decent position - he has a house (that he should be able to keep if he actually talks the issue out and starts making payments from even a minimal wage job), he still has fans that will cheer on him if he starts to try to fix his shit, and he's not stupid (I mean general intelligence, nigga's not a wise man). He could be comfortably middle class in 5 years, even if he doesn't try to revive his YouTube career. If he does and on top of working somewhere, which is essential for his sanity, he starts making material every 2-3 months? If wager he'd be back yup within a year.

I wish him well and I welcome the surprise, but I'm certain he'll just wallow in self pity and despair untill the end.

I bet if he started producing consistent content again, stopped acting like a spaz on twitter, and generally started signalling that he's on the mend, he could parlay that into a gig for some YouTube writing company 1-2 years down the line. What's that group that does AVGN now? Screenwave? I bet he could do OK in a behind-the-scenes writing role for that kind of outfit. Him being able to dust himself off and act like he's made progress is the kicker, though. I don't think anyone worthwhile would want to touch him unless there was strong, consistent evidence that he had turned a corner.

IDK about him being able to go back to being a personality himself, though. The world has changed and the internet has moved on. But he does still have 100k YouTube subs to potentially build on, which isn't insignificant, I guess.

If Spoony had DSP's work ethic, he wouldn't be a cow. And how tragic is that?
No, Spoony would still be a cow because he also would have been forced into streaming and he's always been a cunt to everyone, even in his early days on his forum when he was still beloved by all.

I think The only way it could have ended well for Noah is if he rode off in the sunset around 2010, and parlayed his internet fame into something out of public limelight. It's easy to say he should have just kept making videos on his own, but he likely would have kept slowly losing popularity and became the dinosaur people mock. I guess being around the equivalent of Doug Walker is better than where Noah is now, but it's still pretty sad.

Christ, just move on with your life. Some girl dumped him and the ultimate thing he can do is to whine on Twitter how miserable fuck he is, and wonders why she won't talk to him... Why would she carry this emotional burden on her own just to please this fucknut?

Xmas time. Go to your parents or your brother and spend time doing actually something more than drinking and abusing Twitter rules. But that would require to log off which we all know is impossible thing to do...

I think there was a forced out video last christmas where Spoony and April did a vlog together and people noted he was being snotty towards her too + IMO for a long time both their twitters indicated they were both living different lives for the most part. But of course he's sad now because he can't just go on ignoring or taking her presence for granted. Frankly I can't feel too bad for her just walking out the door and being good enough not to put the dirty laundry out in public. The best thing she can do is just keep on walking far away as possible and just chalk off the years as a bad idea.

Depression sucks the big one, and lots of people fight with it every day. But if you've totally given into it so every battle is an inevitable loss regardless, that's a massive drain on partners and friends and completely unfair. Not that people can't have bad weeks/months - but Spoony's been having pretty much a bad decade at this point. Why should anyone stay around to help when he won't even help himself?

Other people with depression still struggle on because they want to get past the numbness, some might just do it so their friends and family don't worry - but Spoony long stopped caring about other people and seems to not really want to fight his problems.

The car accident didn't break him out of the malise he's got himself in, nor did the dwindling patreon, health scares or even the strong desire to get away from orange man land. He's long decided therapy is waste of time, self-help is for losers and will write off any other solution offered to him.

He could always finish the Spoony Movie, I mean, real life already wrote the plot for him. Start with his successful career as an e-celeb, watch as his life falls apart into depression and inaction, and then making the movie and his comeback is the final arc and it end with some cheesy triumphant ending like maybe by finishing the movie he rises to such heights of fame that it causes President Ronald Plumpf to explode with rage and die of a heart attack.

Note that Brad Jones invited Noah to spend Christmas with him and his family and was ignored:

Stupid Brad, you just don't understand Spoony's pain.

Sure Brad has had severe depression, he's had a divorce, he's been through several failed relationships, he's lost long time friendships over internet drama, battled substance abuse issues, he lost a place to live and his former landlord threw out his vhs collection, and people talk shit about him on the internet. But he doesn't understand what Noah is dealing with.

Brad also attempted suicide once.
