There is no 'punching up' in comedy, or even 'punching down'. It's just punching. You find something to make fun of, then punch that shit.
Carlin's routine on words you can't say? Punching media censorship.
Robin William's joking about his alcoholism? Punching himself and other alcoholics.
Lewis Black on the housing crash? Punching banks and lawyers.
Bill Hicks making fun of the people on Cops? Punching trailer-trash that make meth.
Here's the advanced lesson, you don't have to be mean to be funny. Back to Williams, his drunk jokes were at his own expense, and the expense of those who were also drunks. But it wasn't mean, it was relateable. Even if you aren't a drunk, you could relate the jokes to one experience or another.
The people who say you can't 'punch down' don't know as much as they think they do about comedy. It comes from a feeling of superiority over others, and the thinking that you, wonderful you, must protect them from the evils of jokes.
True, there are some things I think you shouldn't do as a 'joke'. Don't make fun of kid for his dad dying, or for being a downie, or something like that. If you do, however, it better be the funniest shit ever said. Then it's fine.

at the very least dont post the comment u just gloated on banning someone for n prove that theyve said nothing wrong

i can see why sophie likes to stick to the ol reaccuring 'i was literally being attacked by nazis." "nazis? in this part of the internet? in this supportive community? localized entirely within ur facebook?" "mm yes" "can we see it?" "...no" bit. at the very least it leaves something to the imagination. actually SHOWING what it is people say is a tad... embarrassing...

If Labelle had actual proof he was attacked by Nazis, he'd plaster it across every social media account he has. As it stands, he's more than likely made this shit up, and knows he can just block anyone who questions his lies.

I read somewhere that the worst thing you could do to a person's sense of identity was to devalue their real name. Normal people don't feel the need to change around their name because it holds meaning for them. Christ, Billie do you hate cis people enough to say that they're awful just for keeping the core of their identity intact? How tolerant and healthy.

Yeah person’s name is pretty ingrained habit. Actually if you witness protection program you usually keep your first name to avoid unnecessary slip ups. Mainly first names changed if it’s highly unusual or in case of young child. This compilationed with all the important and less important paperwork that meeds to be updated. Yeah it’s not a smart just go changing names all the time. Plus there things like nicknames and words like honey, sweetie and mate if your name currently annoys you to give time get over it.

Imagine being so obsessed with how you identify that not choosing your own name is a personal crisis. If you needed any more proof their identity is their personality this is it.
Barely skimmed the dual paragraphs
My translation:
"Die CIS,scum."
Edit2: Imagine being so far up your own asshole/Tumblr-isms/detached from reality that you cannot even fathom regular naming conventions.
Hey, what if I like my assigned name you fat tranny failure of a business(wo)man?
Fuck You.

You're not a transtrender, you're a fraud

But it is up to other people if they want to acknowledge your ‘truth’ or not and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it.

Everyone judges people on how they look, whether they admit or not, and that goes double for trans people.

I bet even labelle has his doubts when he meets a nonbinary lesbian with a beard.
