I don't know what funky BMI chart you're using, but 6'9 and 300 pounds gives a BMI of 32.1, which would make him obese, not just overweight. To be considered overweight, he would have to be between 233 and 280 pounds.

Even functional and proven transplants with other organs still pose risks, and the immune system will often try to attack the new organ, sensing it as a foreign body inside of them. So imagine that, but it's just a useless thing that someone stitched inside of them.
