The Starbucks thing is kind of like Chibi's couch incident, if anyone knows him. It's what most people know about and react to but if you actually follow Lucas a bit you'll realize that he's cringier almost on a daily basis than he was during the Starbucks thing. There's just less people watching. Imagine a thread reaching 500 pages off just a single thing someone did.

The best part about this is not only is his information wrong but he is stupid enough to broadcast the fact that he supposedly has a 'spy.' Common sense would tell you that if you actually have a spy helping you out in such a situation that you keep your mouth shut about it. Perhaps common sense isn't as common as the name implies. I would love to see how lucas would react to playing eve online after seeing him blurt that stuff out

I could kind of see someone being in SOFALAW feeding him the idea that Ben is the troll account, because we did have a whole post on the picture on that account showing a UK plug for the vibrating wand. I don't know if the barista's age was ever confirmed. All of the contemporary news articles said she was 16, but seemed to use Lucas's nutso rambling about the incident as their source for that. Clearly, at the time, Lucas himself saw her as really young, and used the "at least she's 16" reasoning as an excuse to say that what he did was legal.

I think we got confirmation a few pages ago that he yells at all hours of the day and night as he spergs into his cheap tablet in video mode about whatever is on his mind at that moment.
The whole point about allowing him to have a cheap room and enough money to cover the bare necessities is so he can decide what else he wants to do with his life, or at least that is the argument for these kinds of social services. I don't want to get into a political discussion or debate the pros or cons to this approach, but it's what Lucas is dealing with right now. As bassomatic said, it seems to just empower Lucas to misbehave and think he can demand more from people who are already tired of dealing with him.

Indeed, he seems to think that its some kind of permanent situation that he has no matter what happens, which like you said he takes as being enabled to act like this, even in the apartment. He doesn't understand that even in a place like that the admins patience has its limits. If his ranting and delusions starts to cause a problem for the admin, the residents or starts drawing heat on the building itself with complaints about his public behavior he could easily find himself getting kicked out. After all there are many others waiting for a space in a place like that so they can actually make something of themselves and use the chance offered to them instead of squandering it like lucas. His sense of entitlement is just as likely to be his downfall as a psychotic breakdown. I can see it being quite the incident if they finally have enough of him and give him the boot. He would lose his shit knowing he has nowhere else to go and chimp out, getting himself thrown in jail or the psych ward
That said, on an unrelated note, I still can't figure out how he manages to spend $60 on a steak dinner while thinking thats a good thing. He's getting ripped off when he does that. If he is such a great cook like he claims to be you would think he would simply buy a package of steaks and make something better than that garbage they gave him for $60 in the pics he posted awhile back. Then again, it really fits his champagne socialist attitude to sit there and eat bad, overpriced 'luxury' food while ranting and raving about socialism and how capitalism and people with money are bad. This is very true. I know the building he lives in is full of convicted felons. I am amazed that he has not really pissed someone there off with his erratic behavior. If Lucas gets kicked out of there, he is probably fucked. He has burned so many other bridges with social agencies in Spokane that no one else would probably take him in.
He always thinks the government will help him. The chimpout would be astronomical if they evicted him. You would see him with a shopping cart full of board games waddling around downtown Spokane.

Lucas is just dumb aside everything else.
That's why he feels so high and mighty. The place he's at is for people who can't get basic housing and too high functional for group homes permanent warded.
From my reading lots of the trash he lives with are just burnt out junkies etc . This seems to be a last stop for many, they will either leave to care homes when their bodies fail, cells when they fuck up again or just off to the grave.
They don't do more than legal required for these people because hopeless cases. Granted some people are just so messed up this This beats a group home more freedoms and privacy. Not everyone in the place is truly scum some just broken brains. But this isn't really transitional as much as they say to be as people in these places can't get other options.
Lucas is gonna fuck up and back to a ward jail and they won't roll out a red carpet waiting lists are long. Once he's in a unit his tard bux freeze and rent isn't paid his board games go the dump and it's back to square one for the wern.
I legit think all the shit lolcows survive if he goes dark it's time for a cheap pine box and find a new lolcow.
