Furry Fandom and Drama General

This tweet has a few layers. Connor Goodwolf is behind the account. It got bashed by the Save Our Sisk bunch because it exposes the pedos in the fandom (even if it is a legal issue). Dogpatch promoted it. Feefers of Aimee Chancellor thread liked it (despite being involved with a bunch of pedos)
I might as well break down all the layers here, because there is so much drama to unpack here along with a few interesting characters.

Connor Goodwolf is trying to get into the activism scene because it brings him more clout than trying to LARP as being rich in a fandom of broke college students. The problem is nobody in the state of Ohio takes him seriously, both thanks to things he's done during his Insane Kangaroo days and because of his tendency to carry out gay ops on furries who cross him. Recently he tried going after right wing furries and becoming pals with Dogpatch, but the schism between Sisk's crew and Dogpatch has caused Dogpatch to bleed followers as he blocks people. Dogpatch pulled an article written by Sisk before he posted his own responses saying Sisk's story was sketchy.

Thanks to the Sisk drama, Dogpatch has decided to go against pedophiles since AltFurry is dead and Milo pussied out of going to MFF. He posted a tweet promoting Connor's blocklist idea. As Dogpatch is a huge proponent of blocklists himself this was not a surprise.

Carcin is Sisk's handler, and absolutely hates police, the sex offender justice system, and prisons. Thanks to the fallout between him and Dogpatch, Carcin has become an increasingly powerful voice in the furry drama scene. So imagine his shock when he logs into Twitter and sees his former ally tweeting about this. He whipped up a tweetstorm over this.

Carcin talks about blacklisting other furries for being possible sex offenders being wrong, after telling people blocklists are okay with political fringe groups a few months back.

He's not mad with the fact it's a blocklist as much as the fact that it's a crime registry.

I think worth noting is that a few months back Carcin was also calling Patch a needed staple in the leftist furry community because he was their based furry journalist. Now that crowd is infighting hard. It's entertaining to watch furries fight over "should sex offenders be in the fandom/near cons" because while the answer should be "hell no", this is the furry fandom. Back in the day furries sick of the fandom and outsiders critiquing the fandom would say that furries will literally accept any fetish, and this is proof that has not changed.

I hope that nobody has to point out just how fucking suspicious and eye-brow raising that Carcin is against something that's designed to prevent pedophiles from continuing to harm people. Especially considering how his tranny SO got in deep shit for (supposedly) doing sex roleplay with a minor and how sketchy the whole "#SaveOurSisk" campaign was.

Nice house the dude has but I guess it smells a little ripe in there tho.

Can we have an "Indian Content" reaction?

#SaveOurSisk know they can never back down without proving the pedo they defend is guilty. There is always an excuse with the trannies as to why what they are doing is nothing bad. Look at Desmondisamazing for excuse after excuse

Nothing new, Connor Goodwolf is trying to earn brownie points, doesn't the dude have his own thread?

Yes and of all the people to rally behind for Dogpatch this makes so little sense it's baffling. Connor Goodwolf aka InsaneKangaroo was banned from AC for trying to open carry a fucking rifle. IK went on a crusade a while back to get e621 nuked for hosting cub content and it's weird to see this make bedfellows out of the two.

That's the exact reason why Carcin's pulling this stunt, because his pedo boyfriend is gonna get slaughtered and the #saveoursisk gig will blow up into the mainstream, essentially causing the rest of the twitter nutjobs to lynchmob both of them.

Kind of funny if you think about it, the tag was mostly dead until recently, and now that it's gaining traction during the furry era where people are eating their own for pedo/zoo shit. 2020 is gonna be an entertaining year.

I feel very optimistic here, but I hope that the evil would be defeated.

As I said a while ago on the Sergal thread, if Sisk and Carcin had just shut the everloving fuck up, he wouldn't have even gone to prison. But no, gotta lord it over Twitter. I hope they get fucked over, obviously.

It's also kind of a pity that every time someone tries to clean up it's a cow like IK trying to do it, dooming it even before it starts.

I notice that whenever outsiders find out about Sisk they're left with questions, or jump to saying Sisk deserves it for being a pedophile. In fact because of just how high profile and divisive Carcin himself has been with drama, I've seen backlash against Sisk. That Furry Callout Party account that was posting a bunch about the Aark and Briarpupy fight has been taking pot shots at Sisk's crew and how they handle those asking questions. Then there's plenty of opportunists like Len Gilbert, Connor, and Dogpatch throwing themselves into this, in the hopes that they can get fandom fame taking down Sisk.

This one tweet sums up the Sisk dumpster fire quite well:

Much for the reason Right wing types as a whole hasnt gone and "done something" yet, is likely the same reason here. that being most folks want shit cleaned up, but cant do it themselves or are waiting for someone else to get things started somewhat successfully.

Perhaps this IK fellow is the point, a pressure release valve to vent some steam against the Freaks while ultimately dooming it to failure with their own issues. in the end preventing any real change.

Carcin really hates k9sentry

Not sure how calling out k9sentry's followers is any better than what k9sentry is doing.

On one hand, putting RC Fox on the list is pointless. On the other hand, holy shit is Carcin mad over this. He even said RC Fox was harassed and that's why he killed himself, not because of the fact that he was facing CP charges.

Innocent people facing CP charges don't kill themselves. A "not guilty" from the jury would have shut all the harassment down.

Is calling a 15 year old boy jailbait and pressuring him to go to nudist meetups with older, adult men an infraction that would land you on the list?

This isn't going to do anything because furries don't care. They just want pure escapism and will resist anything that demands they act more critically and ethically. Wikifur already lists the criminal history of certain furries, complete with links and archives and screencaps and all those goodies, yet those people are welcomed in and protected. Growly's repeat pedophile behavior is publicly available information that's easy to access and understand, but convention heads still bend over backwards to make excuses and let him be around kids at cons. Connor's already witnessed how community runners don't respond to information of convicted pedophiles in their midst.

Databases like this don't work because they do nothing to get to the heart of the issue. These people will still be a welcomed part of the community. They will still have friends who protect them and look the other way to let them have access to groups they really shouldn't. They will still be surrounded by onlookers making excuses in their defense. They will still memory hole their criminal history by covering it up with cutesy behavior and art. They will still be able to create a cult of personality that lets them get away with everything. You can air out all these peoples' criminally dirty laundry all you want, and furries will always shit their pants and do nothing.

You can rape kids and get caught talking about molesting them and cons will still welcome your business because that's just the furry way!

It's worth noting that RC checked out right after his 'please be patient with me I have pedotism' motion failed.

...nah; they would think that the system let you go free. This type of thought happen a lot with people who believe in rape culture and AntiFa. Take a look at he George Zimmerman and Brett Kavanaugh cases.
