It's sad. Some artists spend years and never get a potential breakout moment from something going viral. And things don't go viral in a way you planned or would necessarily want.
It's an opportunity for success.

Why would you do away with a character people actually like for such a dumb reason? Also saying REEEEE is something that is mocking the alt-right nature of the character.
I'm disappointed by this. While Jess is acting very counterproductively, I try to have empathy. Apparently, empathy is really bad, though.

The sobering thing about all this is that Jess isn't even close to being the most hateful, corrosive troon on social media. There are SJW cartoonists out there so ungrounded they make Jess look like Will Rogers.

Y'know if Anita was legit robbed I'd say the same thing I did when Pewds got robbed "that really fucking sucks for them and I'm glad they weren't hurt" and I Goddamn hate Anita Sarkisian. Except the big difference here is someone like Anita is a known shit stirrer and con artist that cries wolf when "bad things" "happen" to them. I guess that makes me Giga Hitler 9000.
Jess is leagues above Sophie LaBelle and Bria when it comes to art and actually being able to make a joke and is way more reasonable, or was. Like was Jess hoping woke Twatter would latch on to her totally controversial "lol take that Nazi" comic that's about a month too late?

Read the whole thread, Jess isn't as bad as Bria or Labelle though this mean streak seems a bit new in their recent comics? But then it seems like she rarely interacts with people outside her gender-special friends - so maybe that's why she has such an unhealthy approach to others.
That said last year she was droning on about working with a guy going on about TLJ and "right wing" talking points, so New Guy seems to have got off lightly in comparison so far.

What a delightful New Year's gift, I wondered why I was getting 20 alerts a day about old MPNG posts for the past 3 days, I didn't think we'd have a surge of 10 new pages
Thanks to everyone who followed Jess on twitter to cap great tweets(I will never fucking learn, I swear) and saving all the fan art before people have second thoughts and pull them down. It's pretty nice that Jess actually acknowledges it as "hate art" and getting more of it in a day than fan art all year. It's sad, these people wouldn't know what to do with success or opportunities if you beat them over the head with it. Which is exactly what's happening with it. I guess Jess doesn't want 20 thousand dollars in quick T-Shirt and coffee mug sales. Or signing New Guy fan art at the dispansary/coffee shop. Shrug!
Since I saw a lot of new folks checking out this thread and not aware of Jess' history or past works(and most people aren't down to read a 100+ page thread start to finish), dox is on page 97(formerly 98?), link to it directly here.
