I don't even have a joke for this. If any of you Era users read this, and I know some of you do, this isn't normal. This isn't how rational, emotionally balanced people react to the world around them. I know as sites we're never going to see eye to eye on anything, but I feel 100% safe in saying that your website is harbouring some severely violent and disturbed people. The kind of people who will do something about that rage they feel. And remember it's always the quiet weird kid who spends all their time online, now look at some of the post counts of your users. Your website is full of the people you've convinced yourself you've locked outside of the big iron Gates of your church.
You've locked yourself in an asylum with people who can't distinguish fantasy from reality, will not change beliefs when faced with conflicting verifiable information, have what can only be described as literal 2 minute hate's against an actual LIST of faux celebrities and companies. If there was a codified belief structure that could stay stable long enough, you're looking at the Genesis of a cult.
I'm fascinated from an academic standpoint of course, but from a human perspective it's revolting to watch human beings act like this while claiming it's enlightened. Feral children fighting over scraps of ever rotting pop-culture attention with words they don't understand and weapons they'll never know how to use.
It's pathetic really. Just really think about it and ask yourself what you gain from this.
