I think that's why these specific kind of claims annoy me. They have theoretically experience online communities from both sides and should know better.
What rotten luck. In the middle of a once in a lifetime holiday, and while you're away they struck a wellspring of progressive asspats that's too good to miss out on. This is all ContraPoints fault.
With all the fake troons and blacks on Era, and the r/ThatHappened level stories they post, I think some of them want the attention and oppression points. It's a fantasy for them. It's easy to imagine the real story behind many of these posts. A guy trying to take an order in Spanish gets twisted into a story where they end up in a 4v1 fight with a viking. Police arresting their jerk neighbor gets twisted into some story about Hell's Angels and drugs.
As for what will shake them. Being dogpiled and told to join the 41% club during the latest left-eating-their-own purge seems to work well.
I don't get it either. But it makes more sense if you work under the logic that anything a straight white male likes is evil and oppressive, and everything anyone does is stunning and brave.
On the topic of hating on Twitch thots. It feels like only a month or 2 ago they (the SocJus left) were reeeing about a comedian vaping Bele Delphine's bathwater and Ninja not Twitch thots on his stream to avoid rumours. Now we're here.

Isamu hardly did anything in the first place other than throw some money at Resetera and he's crying about being burnt out. Everything was delegated from day 1. The prior admins and insiders who had shares had fuck all percentage wise and they all bailed within a year or so when they seen what Resetera was.
When the troon genocide was happening it took him like 72 hours to even make a post because he didn't know what was going on and he had to fight with his homophobia to care. The most forced and unbelievable reply came from him. One post. Then he fucked off again. Discord-leaker Ketkat was only unbanned as damage mitigation as he thought his $ might get hurt.

Reminds me of NeoGAF’s only attempt at a game: Dudebro 2. A few dozen gaffots were supposedly working on it, they even managed to get Jon St. John onboard to do the voice work. They could never get past the conceptual stage and what little level design was done ended up in a couple Mario Maker levels.

I would say it was in that realm though, along with some Westboro Baptist Church kind of stuff.

I played Sekiro with an Easy Mode mod and it was fun as hell
