It's gonna be a minute. Under normal circumstances we'd sometimes go from the beginning of one month to the end of another for mandatory patreon art sometimes. Bi-weekly art updates are considered fast for Jess. If you want up-to-the-minute Steven Universe opinions, reactions to Hollywood movies and current events and retweets of other queer webcomics though, Jess was tweeting a consistent 5-10 tweets a day or two. Someone 20 pages back was following before Protected mode, we should get an update next week I'd guess.

I don’t care about “feelings of safety“, I care that an actual crime with victims that happened. As unthinkable as it might be I think there more to the world than just feelings. Don’t get me wrong, I care about feelings but I also care what they are based on. Someone saying something that’s not about you or anybody really but you still take offense and declare world unsafe based on that is pretty low on my “I care about” list. Stuff like that is more on realm of paranoia than any actual danger. While I don’t fully believe in “offense is always taken, never given”, it still true that people have much more control over if words hurt or not. You can do much more to hurt factor in insults that hurt factor in a broken arm.
Someone actually getting in taking your stuff is very real and yes, demonstrates that if someone wanted to physically hurt you they could have done that. I don’t think the latter part is that huge factor but I can see it being a bummer or call to action to improve safety issue. I still think that loosing important unpredictable items sucks more and makes it clear that someone needs to be stopped from doing that more people.

Oh dang, I just caught up on this thread. I would peek in on Jessika from time to time because her art was always interesting to look at. (Her uber-PC hamfisting prevented me from loyally reading.)
