Monica Rial / Monica Jean Rial / Rialisms & Ron Toye / Ronald Toye III / rontoye3 - 5th Bulma and Ron "Pick Up the Phone or You'll Find Your Dog Dead When You Get Home" Toye

Even then, she will probably find herself no longer getting calls from them for work once the suit is completely over
yeah it seems like most places are taking the safe route. however the con circuit is still booking vic, and a few for monica. None for Ron because I don't think there's cons for people who use a beard as a substitute for a jawline.

im under the impression jamie will be the one to suffer the most for con invites. Monica might eventually recover some and Vic will be fine as well, but Jamie is too hostile towards fans too publicly(not saying monica hasnt been, but not as badly)

And yet, even though Lemonhead was extremely butthurt about these videos, Chupp did not think being really, really angry about videos on the Internet was a license to free money. I don't think the appeals court will, either.

A lot of people still don't grasp the concept that people are allowed to criticize you on the Internet, and if they do, you are entitled to nothing.
No whats worse is Lemonaids wanted Vic to pay for mean things said by someone else on the internet, with zero evidence to boot about "agency".

Bullshit, I counted how many she's had since 07 and she had not had anything even close to that since 08.

She had 29 in 2019.

I am kind of glad Ty excused himself out of there with vic when vic had to catch a plane because I could see Ty potentially fuming at hellinberg or whatever his name is when he was sperging at the judge. I mean it would have been hilarious to see a potential for a texas showdown in the parking lot, but it would not help anything.

but Sentai doesn't do simul-dubs like Funimation does.

Sentai operates a streaming service called Hidive which I think is a good alternative to Crunchyroll. It's cheaper at $5/mo or $50/yr and it has a decent catalog of older stuff - one show I'm working through is Mecha-Doc, a 1984 series about a car tuning company and their friends and enemies; every episode climaxes with a car racing scene with absolutely zero plasticky 3D CGI car models - and even some live-action shows and movies.

Hidive does have a "Simulcasts" section where newer shows are released per episode as they become available, with a dub usually becoming available about a week or so later for the series that they choose to dub. I don't know how this compares to Funimation's schedule but I imagine it's pretty close. When I go to the "Simulcasts" page and filter by shows with English audio available, I get:

  • Ahiru no Sora
  • Assassin's Pride
  • O Maidens in your Savage Season

Of which, according to ANN's encyclopedia, Rial appears to have a bit part in Ahiru no Sora and O Maidens. (A "Natalie Rial" appears to have a main character role in O Maidens. Not sure if there's any relation.) None of the other actor names for any of these shows stuck out to me.

Assassin's Pride (and Release The Spyce from a few seasons ago) were simuldubbed in the sense that they released in roughly the same season. However, with HiDive's format they release blocks of three episodes every 3-4 weeks, and ultimately are about 6 episodes behind when all is said and done. (For example, Assassin's Pride's episodes 10-12 of the dub comes out January 16 whereas episode 10-12 of the sub came out December 12, 19, and 26 respectively). Some shows did have 2-3 week release delays, like Funimation. Off the top of my head, Tsurune.

Nowadays Funi generally has the episodes about 2 weeks after the Japanese version comes out. Some shows, like Fire Force and Wise Man's Grandchild were released the same day through the entirety of their runs. Some shows, like SSS Gridman, started out as same-day released but eventually were delayed by a few weeks. Also, Funi tends to touch up and/or fix their simuldubs for the uncut/disc release. For example, Zombie Land Saga had Japanese songs. In the English uncut version, the songs are dubbed.

For Crunchyroll, Shield Hero started out as same-day, but got pushed back around episode 16 or so.

Natalie Rial is Monica's younger sister.

Noir is my favorite anime of all time and she's just......ugh. It'll be difficult to watch in a way knowing she's the way she is. I mean Mireille is my favorite character and voiced by Shelley Calene-Black anyway but still.

It's funny how perceptions of a person can ruin media for you. Michiko to Hatchin, Azumanga Daioh, etc.

I never watch dubs but whenever I notice Monica Rial or other Weeb Wars tards in the credits I either cringe or make a dumb joke (if I'm drunk-watching anime which I usually am). Always a dumb joke if I see Vic's name.

IMHO the strategy of J-ADOLF LEMOINE here was to emotionally hook the judge.

Maybe, just maybe, he thought Chupp dropped the causes of action because what's her face - Grigsby? - her codswallop got to Chupp and Chupp swallowed the #meetoo/ Grigsby/J-ADOLPH LEMOINE crap wholesale.

He was trying to go the same route - liberally spreading slime against Nick / Vic / Ty, try to emotionally hook Chupp like he did before and ... PROFIT !!!
If this was the thought process I think J-ADOLPH was wrong - Chupp was lazy, not hooked.

Michiko to Hatchin
Someone really should have told Rial to dial back that "Sassy Black Woman" voice she used (which got grating after extended periods, especially from that design). or at least made her watch an episode and discover the show's supposed to take place in a fictionalized Brazil setting.

Like anyone can tell that cunt anything, especially something she doesn't want to hear.

The only thing that'll get through to her - "this one tastes better than the one you're eating - why don't you eat both".

Its interesting because they cast a black woman as the lady cop.

They really couldn't get black lady to play Michiko? GK Bowes? Danielle Nicolet? Cree Summer? Amanda Celine Miller?

For Cree Summer, they'd have to get past the unions.

Don't they have Honduran VAs working for them, even when they dubbed it? How'd Monica convince them she was more Latina than them?
