To give Henderson some credit, he does actually write quite a bit in the scientific literature and he has published his criteria for operating in a peer-reviewed journal. He does actually turn people away when they test negative according to his criteria (which isn't often, but does happen). Most neurosurgeons regard his criteria as BS, and there are studies discrediting some of his criteria as too unreliable.

Agree about the hack in Barcelona. The only studies I’ve seen from Henderson are more vague and don’t really give measurements or criteria information regarding his practices and how he orders MRIs particularly in EDS patients. Do you have any links to this? I’ve seen one regarding Downs Syndrome but again not really clear with the imaging techniques.

But the rub is that this should be able to be clearly seen on plain flexion and extension radiograph and shouldn’t need any special weighting with neck turned like Henderson does. We are talking about real conditions with real symptoms. Is it likely that people with EDS experience some symptoms under some circumstances from their neck vertebra slipping that cause symptoms at times? Absolutely. Should we put all of them through brain and spine surgery? Hell no. Measurements matter less than symptoms. If a person can walk and talk, they likely do NOT need this type of surgery.

thank you for this more in depth explanation. i didn’t mean to imply all upright MRIs are bullshit, just that he swears you need one because of the reasons you’ve stated. that’s the one thing that’s always stuck out to me. How is it that one these few neurosurgeons are the only ones who can help EDS patients with (supposed) CCI? It doesn’t add up.

Oh SJ will get her insurance back. Minnesota is super nice they'll even back date 3 months. When my son became eligible they asked if we had bills in the last 3 months for him that outweighed the premium.
So SJ will lament and gofundme just to have the state pick up the bill in the end.

Was referring more to the fact that she’s so self centered and munchie. We can all be thankful SJ won’t be passing on those genes. We could all hope having babies would make some munchies realize the earth doesn’t and shouldn’t revolve around them, but I’m not too optimistic on that front.

One of the few silver linings of this thread is that most of these fuck ups will never reproduce. Jan's consistently claimed she's too sick. That doesn't really preclude a whoopsie if Paul ever tries to leave, but at her current weight (even excusing the blatant photoshop and ana-chan posing) I doubt her babby-maker is working. SJ is an exceptional lesbian without reproductive organs. Paige is too busy coating herself in infected piss to get some poor chap to pity fuck her. I'm about 90% convinced Dani's "boyfriend" doesn't even know she's telling people he's her boyfriend. Jaquie munched herself to death before she could spawn. Skinwalker cannot possibly still menstruate at 70 lbs. Julian is a female married to another female and has been on HRT for a long time. Kat Loosmore is gross and her husband left her after less than a year (lol). There's one I'm currently working on who is an oopsie/gotcha baby waiting to happen but also pulling the "far too sick to pregnancy" routine. ALF is probably the only other one I really worry about getting preggers.

ALF is hypermobile, but so are a lot of people. She had an eating disorder and then jumped to something more exotic, because she’s hypermobile enough to fake EDS. Her chronic illnesses are fake as hell though, including the EDS IMO. She just got lucky she can easily take it, unlike most of these bitches.

It’s pretty satisfying watching her balloon up, because there‘s no way that would happen if she was truly only surviving on TPN. She‘d also be mor convincing if she stopped downing wine and cheeseburgers, but once a bulimic, always a bulimic. She’s trying to pull the usual ana chan munchie bit of ‘allergic to lipids’ too, which is rare and obviously not happening in her case.
