She seems nice enough but I watched the video where she advised Our Lady of the Traveling Toilet to stop using MFP because it is so unreliable without touching the fact that it is unreliable because Amy is too dumb to enter what she actually ate, substituting grape leaves for stuffed grape leaves, and similar stupidity issues. Is she being passive aggressive, overly polite, or does she too have certain conceptual difficulties?

the CPS system in oregon is so bad that the feds intervened, and the governor is embroiled in another scandal as a result. part of the scandal is that children are being placed in out of state, for profit group homes in idaho and utah, and there are a whole bunch of abuses there. others are shuffled between foster homes at an astonishing rate, which increases the chances of any one kid getting abused. they really might be better off with amy, sad as that is. they should make her send the kids to school though, and that will happen if she fails to get them to take standardized tests ever couple of years (or if they take the tests and do poorly).

Holy shit this is the first time I’ve actually watched a video. After everything I’ve seen of Amy, I guess I always expected her to have a high-pitched idiot baby voice?? Or something that made her, uh, level of cognition immediately apparent? But her delivery is almost...normal. And confident! My personal take is she had (or obtained) the kids for pretty much the same reason she became muslim, as kind of a social shield. After a life of being (and feeling) disenfranchised, she has a role now, she's a mommy. Amy was raised by wolves herself and seems to think her complete lack of care for them is adequate. What's important about the kids is she has them. She probably thinks that by keeping them home she's an infinitely better parent than her mother, and she may scarily be right.
