Again, all that these people are proving is that con staffers and runners were always a bunch of wannabe highschool mean girls. Gotta love that her evidence of Vic being a shitty guest is that con staff was shitty to him by calling him names behind his back.

Even if she's telling the truth, being an asshole and a diva is not illegal. Even if Vic really was an asshole (and not just a guest that had to deal with incompetent staff), that doesn't prove he's also a sexual harasser.

I think my favorite part of all this is, Toye & Co. Have inadvertently taken Vic's fame, and transformed it into preeminence. Prior to all this, I (and I'm assuming many others) knew who Vic was, but never really paid him much mind. He was just another VA to me. But now, I'm actively seeking out roles he has portrayed, and purposefully consuming media he has been a part of. Partially out of spite perhaps, but increasingly because I'm realizing just how talented he actually is.

The funniest thing is when he's in an anime where all the actors suck. Like, remember old dubs where everyone just yelled or overdramatized their lines? Vic doesn't. He actually acts.

i really don't care if vic is an asshole but what i do want to know is whether these allegations are true or not. vic being an ass-hole or not doesn't matter.

I don't understand why they can't keep their stories straight.

They committed to this lie that Vic is this horrible sex pest, but make up excuses on why people don't believe the all the rumors. It's either that he hides his true nature or that he was so brazen that he couldn't control his urges.

One person even told me that I must have been manipulated by him because he's a totally abusive person that grooms every girl he comes across. And this was after I had told them that I've met Vic before and he didn't do or say anything inappropriate to me.

This is really bad for the defendants since they really dont have time to recover financially from the Chupp blow. 2020 is looking to be a heck of a year already with appeals happening this soon.

And here I was thinking I could get cozy and get back to gaming while popping in to check on this once in a blue moon.

The first round of appeal briefs are due soon, on January 27th. No hearing scheduled yet, and oral arguments aren't a requirement.
