Jazz did blame some of his weight gain on the fact that hes driving now and can go eat fast food whenever he likes. But that sure makes me think of Foodie Beauty and her many mukbangs filmed in her car.
As for him having a meltdown over a show not going perfectly, well that is ridiculous. Thats what happens when shows are live ( and probably poorly planned and not rehearsed and full of amateurs). Sometimes the glitches and how the performers recover or ad lib is part of the fun of it. But as the old saying says " the show must go on".
I dont buy the excuse that jazz was having a hectic life with high school senior year, preparing for college and doing the drag show.
It was online high school which can be done at his own pace. He didnt have to go to school 5 days a week like other kids. Its not like he was in sports, had projects to do and had senior events to attend.
We know dang well someone filled out all of the college apps for jazz so that doesnt seem too strenuous either. As for the drag show, that is all on him because he volunteered for it and set high expectations ( to raise $15000 for his friends transition).
None of this bodes well for jazz ever becoming an independent or well adjusted person. He was never Harvard material. But we kinda already knew that anyway.
Is Jazz on any kind of anti depressants or anxiety medications? Excuse me if that's an exceptional question but I don't recall it being mentioned anywhere. I don't really think meds can help too much with all the shit he has to put up with but maybe it would help some, because he looks like he's close to rock bottom at this point. The way his parents acted about the eating disorder, from what I saw in the show, I feel like they wouldn't even bother putting him on those meds or seeing an actual therapist. Just send him to the hypnotherapist like idiots.
He was diagnosed with depression in 6th grade and was on meds for it back in 2016. I would assume he is still on them. This is a transcript from 2016 discussing it and also illustrating how jazz is nowhere near being responsible and independent when it comes to taking care of himself.:
Jazz: Oh, I’m out of medicine.
Mom (to Jazz): What? You’re out of it? Which medicine are you out of?
Jazz: The happy pills. I just took the last ones.
Mom (to camera): To complicate matters more, in 6th grade Jazz was diagnosed with clinical depression and she was put on antidepressants. The medication does a good job of managing Jazz’s moods. But, with depression, it’s always there, and there are times when she is struggling.
Mom (to Jazz): I’ve got to call these (medication refills) into the doctor ASAP.
* Notice how jazz expects his mother to do it and in a hurry too, just because jazz is to immature to be responsible for himself to take care of it himself
