Is it confusing that the Sjw's hate Joker or is it just me. To me, Joker sounds like something these types would be nominating for picture of the millennia. Arthur is a downtrodden, mentally ill man who loses his access to care, gets beaten up by some rich cunts, gets slapped by the richest cunt in town, was abused by his mother and her previous partner, and at the end of the movie, Arthur has killed 3 rich people and 1 "privileged" TV show host then Arthur starts a revolution. How could they hate this? Sounds like their wet dream.

I think the reason why the woke crowd hates Joker is far simpler than everyone is making it out to be. They hate it because they were told to hate it before it was even out, hell, remember the outrage at the trailer? They assumed it would appeal to alt-right dude bros, so it had to be pure evil and they responded as such. So even though it aligns with their worldviews, they can't accept it because that would mean admitting that they were wrong and that being outraged at everything isn't a good idea.

Also, yes, Arthur is white and his character humanizes poor white men who are disenfranchised.

I really think that the problem all these people have with Joker stems from the gangweed meme. All these anti women GibberGabbers joking about rising up to say the N-word now have their own movie now!?!? No matter how much of a joke it was these retards have been warned about the power of dank memes. Not only that but they hate gamers and racism, which are the same thing according to some, so the idea that they'd be mocking them and their status quo, ie. We live in a society, is tantamount to the worst offense they can fathom. It would explain the hoopla around all of them begging for a mass shooting.

But that's just my two cents.

That to me is the funniest thing about this. As Jay from RLM pointed out when they covered Joker, this film literally had nothing to do with anything the people screaming about it said it would. They can't admit they were idiots or that they had more sinister intentions behind going after this movie.

More importantly, people who hate Joker fail to realize that they are the reason why the film was successful. By sperging out so much over it and trying to egg on a mass shooting to occur, they only gave the film more exposure and emboldened everyone else to go see it. Had they not done that, the film could have easily passed without the billion dollar gross at the box office or the award nominations.

Second, Bob is too stupid to understand the limits of space travel (all thanks to him confusing science with magic). There’s so much economic and practical factors into doing space travel it’s insane.

The event particularly is supposed to draw comparisons to The 1984 NYC Subway Shooting but with rich whites as the accosting group (which is an interesting twist on the story, since the real shooter was mugged by "urban youths"). I think any liberal who knows the context finds it disturbing, but I don't think most of them do know the context.

Some people could argue that this change shows a left wing agenda for the movie. I don't think that was the intention though. It was a demand of the plot. The movie needed an angry mob that sympathizes with the shooter and resents the police and Thomas Wayne. For those purposes it makes far more sense for the guys who got shot to be stockbro douches than hoodrats. The asshole kids at the beginning who steal Arthur's sign and beat him up for no reason could also be considered a nod towards the true identity of the muggers so the movie is more balanced instead of just portraying whitey as bad.

I wanna say he did a video on it but I can't find it. The only other "artsy" thing that I can remember him talking about was Blue Is the Warmest Color. He did this review which is a thousand words too long. I swear I remember him doing a video on it in which at some point he says (paraphrasing) people will come and see the spectacle of two French teens found down on each other but will be captivated by the story and thus be cultured.
