You know maybe that’s it. BT knows his place is firmly gluing his lips to Monica and Jamie’s asscheeks while he holds the tray.

Emmett keeps trying to get senpais to notice him when his place is firmly next to BT with the snack tray.
If you go to BT's facebook, it's very clear what his endgame is in all this. He's very content standing next to Soye holding the back-up snack try, and has no sexual interest in Monica. But nobody, NOBODY, is going to hurt or take away the anime girls he masturbates to. Not on his watch.

Just out of genuine curiosity, what would happen if he got a PR firm now? Just hypothetically speaking.

I think part of the problem is that Vic would look like a "sore loser." That he lost his case and decided to go after them in the court of public opinion. It won't matter if everything is true and verifiable, no one will care because "Vic is throwing a fit."

So if someone else get's MeToo'd soon, well, there is a stack of evidence just waiting to be deployed at the first moment.

I think Shane is going after Todd because Pridemore ran HERSELF into a corner trying to insert herself into the Vic thing and if he doesn't try to dogpile Todd on a case that I think no one really wants then he's outed as a giant hypocrite. I wonder if JP really looked at it as the pseudo-rape she presented it as, or if it was a convenient story to paste onto the other. It always came across as disingenuous to me that Pridemore basically said:

Let me talk about Vic <insert very long story that sounds rapey> that wasn't Vic but, this kind of thing happens all the time in this industry. So we need to drive people like Vic out of it.

Because she explicitly left Todd's name out of it, I don't know that she actually intended to go after Todd. But then Todd looked at what was happening to Vic and realized "that could be #metoo" and jumped to defend himself before the ball got rolling on cancelling him. And since the STORY as presented was worse than anything Vic was accused of, it's either "Todd is bad" or "clearly there's a vendetta against Vic".

That is why it doesn't make sense for Shane to go after Todd. Todd is prepped and ready for it. They only won against Vic because he was unprepared.

Shane is just swiping at controversy to stay relevant. Jinnie was too unknown so Shane just grabbed whatever was nearby. Todd has a law firm standing by in case someone starts fucking with him.

Holmberg knows this and still does it.

Basically their job would be to destroy anyone that tried to fuck with Vic, anything that could be used to damage their reputation would be used, any work opportunities would be muddled with, Sabat withholding roles for sex? They would make a documentary and spread it as far as they possibly could, make Sabat a known rapist in the eyes of the public.

Ron, pull all his dirty laundry out of his closet and then make Monica complicit of it, then not only complicit but outright supportive, say the only reason she got with Ron was that she got excited thinking of him hitting other women, and that he blackmailed the Yost twins for sexual favors for him and Monica by holding housing and work as collateral.

Marchi, hire a psychiatrist that says she is certifiably crazy and that she has a litany of other issues, so it's not her fault but anything she says can't be trusted at face value.
If that's true, I'm actually glad Vic didn't hire a proper PR firm. IMO, a lot of Vic's success in terms of public opinion has to do with him coming across as a genuinely nice guy, and while that perception of him can be a detriment (see: this entire fucking thing), it also allows fans to sympathize with him. Hiring a PR firm to go scorched earth would have a negative effect on not only the public's perception of him, but it would also disillusion his fans-and we all know how much Vic cares about his fans.

I think we’ve long established that Shane is dumber than a sack of half eaten shoes.

I'm sad that he didn't get it before, but that's what I'm saying. If we say hypothetically say that Vic cracks up now of his soft & sweet shell & actually hires a PR firm right now, What could the result be?

Like, majority of people who are not shillfags [BT, DB-Speds (except 2), etc.], know how bad they all are already even without knowing the Vic situation. How could they ruin it more, then they did themselves?
Remember when they called Rackets a "Hate Megaphone"? Well a PR firm would be that times 1000. Imagine hiring a bard that follows MoRon around and loudly sings and yells at anyone they come in contact with about every negative thing they have ever done, anounce to the world every time they pick their nose, snap a picture of every weird or stupid face they make and meme them to death. Every single mistake or bad take they have ever or will ever have would be on more paid spots than Raid Shado Legends. It would be like buring ants with a magnefying glass at the equater.

Because KV has been so 'open' with their Twitter spergery, all any PR/PI/Reporter would have to do is spend a few dollars to some of the second tier types or even promise them a glowing story with them as the star of a social justice epic (and as an ex-reporter, thats what I'd have done). Then when the details of the behind the scenes crap flows like water, the PR firm then hands all that good info to the law team ... and prepares their media onslaught for the legal battle to come but only trickles out info to the press that rattles the principals of the KV idiocy and Vic's 'old friends'. But doesn't drop the hammer. Yet.

Thats when you would see settlements from the corporate types because they, like CNN, wants discovery avoided.

The PR team then sends Vic out on a media tour of mainstream outlets where he simply is Vic...He talks about how all his male and FEMALE fans stood up for him. 100 percent truth and genuine.

When the spergs refuse to take the L, as they always do, THEN retaliate full nuke and dump the rest of the data. ALL of it.

It's a fairytale come to life with a quiet, appreciative hero overcoming the people who (insert long list of their behavior), all to falsely accuse and destroy, and their own words being their downfall.

Sounds like Vic needs a PR firm then because the American anime industry needs to be razed from top to bottom. Maybe he should follow KickVic's advice in that regard.
But than a modern and good one who knows how to handle the modern social media landscape,
the one who told him to apologize was....

I don't mean "just go do it now." Timing is important. Should the lawsuit come back on appeals, that could be a good time to do so because the court would have found Vic has a case. The spotlight, and therefore, the crosshairs, would be on Funimation and the defendants.

I don't think it works the way you think.
The court of public opinions gives Zero Fucks about Real Judgements.
No one will change his opinion just because a Judge said so,
the worst thing that could happen is that some Journo from one of the bigger twitter outrage papers will write about him,
and all of twitter starts to hate on the EVIL WHITE MAN who dared to defend him self.
Right now it's contained in this small ISVW/KV bubble, but once them Checkmarks get involved...

People commented in Ohayocon's annoucement posting for the "roast" and apparently Ohayocon deleted the comments and later denied doing so. When shown proof, that the negative comments were gone, they commented "that those comments basically all said the same". Of course, just the guests they invited imply that they wanted to cash in on the controversy.

I can only assume AWL is on this ride for the atonement.
More like she has nothing to lose. Senseless and extremely edgy white knighting for two fugly cows and having to deal with a gorillion assmad Vicstans at least gives her cheap laughs, knowing the enraged Vicspeds can't truly harm her in the grand scheme of things...or so she thinks.

These cons sure know how to treat their fans with respect now, don't they?
