See to me that's the more interesting angle, and it's one I think can be applied to most of the people in this subforum: these people are both irony poisoned and have never likely had a real job. People just mutate in half a dozen different directions.

I was reading that Destiny article in Wired and it mentions at the start he gets going at noon and plays video games constantly in a dark room and absent mindedly gives political points. And this is every single day. A human brain cannot tune itself living like that. If you live like these people - Warski, Quartering, etc. - it's nearly impossible to exist around real people. Especially if you don't interface with real friends often and it's just superchats and Twitter personalities. In that sense even if it's not now, one gets the sense some sort of catastrophe is inevitable.

I know that money and connections are important, but this is where the point goes off the rails. Nick, like Dick Spencer, Baked Alaska, James Allsup et al. are blacklisted, and therefore cannot create infrastructure, simply making livestreams rehashing the same topics has a very short shelf life given the lifecycle of an e-celeb, especially the right-wing commentary ones. At this point, the paypiggery merely funds his existence of video games, cat-boypussy, and big macs, I doubt it goes to anything overly constructive or ambitious outside the parameters of his "job", especially something as lofty as a political movement or party.
