Despite settling for a nice guy, she is still hungry for large foreign penis and it haunts her sleepness nights.

Edit: does anyone else think that the artist puts more detail and attention into drawing the penises than into drawing the faces/bodies? Almost like his subconscious is trying to say something.......

There seems to be this unspoken assumption among Red Pillocks that having really satisfying sex with multiple people is a completely foreign concept to geeks in higher education/academia. I find it personally hilarious, since one of my best friends is a research geneticist with a PhD who works at MIT and co-wrote a pretty successful indie tabletop RPG, who met her now-husband (a software engineer and LARPer) at a polyamorous swingers party. They've been married for the better part of a decade, still have all kinds of geeky kinky bedroom fun, and are now expecting their first kid, so academic pursuits and niche interests don't seem to be the obstacle that the haterz assume it to be.

Seriously though, I went to a STEM-centric college and studied political science (I wanted to be a foreign service officer). I remember being astonished at how many girls were homely and unkempt, and how many guys were weird and shy. I honestly became frightened that I wasn't going to have the college experience I had been looking forward to (drinking beer out of frat cups and making out with hot girls) because that stuff wasn't happening. I started actively trying to find the fun people on campus, and I did, and I spent several years devoted to parties and bars and the like. I'm not trying to sound cool, just saying that's what I wanted to do. There are good and bad aspects of that scene. So I kind of want to feel bad for the sluthaters who wanted to find a fun scene that they fit into but couldn't because of social anxiety or whatever.

But when I see these portrayals which imply that college partying is all awful sluts and horrible guys, I'm like...fuck. If these sluts are so bad, then why care? And if not, what's stopping them from making their own beer bong and having girls over? If you absolutely insist upon hot girls, you have to go where they are. They aren't going to a LAN party or a RPG sesh. Most people love drinking and shmoozing. And a computer science degree does not, itself, make the holder attractive. That's video game logic. Fuck.

And why is there no female equivalent? No BetaHate? If a few guys are fucking most of the fuckable girls, and brainwashed feminized men are hogging the rest, shouldn't there should be a place where the homely girls complain about feminists?

Not exactly this but there is a contingent of unattractive, obese women on tumblr who constantly whine how men should be attracted to them despite their lack of care regarding their appearance and their weight while drooling over pictures of the guys from Supernatural and the dude who plays Loki in The Avengers, and explicitly rejecting men who do not fit that ideal. They're sorta kinda the female equivalent of loveshies.

EDIT: They're basically saying "Men shouldn't judge me based on my weight and appearance, that's so shallow, I am a good person with a lot of love to give. PS: No fat dudes, fat dudes are gross, I only want to date well-above-average-looking men."

However, both genders do have the right to have standards. Some women with curves, perhaps more than they should have, can be picky about looks/weight. And there are a ton of men who are picky about looks/weight. And there are many people in the middle not really fussed. There is a question of reasonableness in it all. Women and men both saying "the other sex SHOULD be attracted to me despite me not making any effort" is both bad.

But unfortunately, there are would-be loveshies that get whatever they want because they have/are powerful people- Bill Gates for one. People who would have loads of people from the sex they find attractive queuing up to date them purely based on their place in society, despite not being friendly on the eyes- Gina Rhinehart, Donald Trump. So the fact is, what is reasonable for a Gates, a Rhinehart to a Trump is a lot higher standard, and they can get away with saying, "I only want a woman with F cups+ and more plastic surgery than the backstreets of Brazil" or "I want Chad Thundercock minus the 'tude at my beck and call". My feeling is there are people in the whinging groups from both sides who don't know what they are or what they can offer, and are overrating themselves. Nothing wrong with being picky though - but don't then bitch about how single you are.

Best part is that you could make them in like 15 minutes, the shoddier it is the more authentic it is. There was a comic posted above where the guy was basically gloating about how he takes 8:00 AM classes and is in bed by 10:30pm, you could do one of muscle bro's day-today activities. Including things like working out, eating healthy, and not stalking women. Just an idea.

Oh, I agree, there's nothing wrong with having standards, it just seems hypocritical to me for people of any gender to basically complain very loudly that potential mates judge them based on physical appearance and how wrong it is, while at the same time judging potential mates based on physical appearance. I understand it's human nature, but I find the lack of self-awareness amusing.

EDIT: Basically, it's fine that these people only want to date super-model-esque people/romantic film star types/professional athlete types. The issue I have is when they basically say "I have standards, but others should not have standards, especially when it comes to dating me."
