He actually is avoiding military engagements. He managed to get Rocket Man to negotiate and did more to resolve the unfinished war than many predecessors have. He also managed to take a rebound in the economic cycle and made it a boom, which also dropped black unemployment to its lowest point in history.

At least those are policies which should be seen as good and nonpartisan.

Avoided what?! His talks with NK fall as flat as a trollop on her make-up, as the latter still tries to build nuclear missiles and have yet formally concluded the conflict with SK. Trying more doesn’t mean you will get more out of it. What part of his economic policies can not be attributed as mere carry-overs from the previous administration? Because unemployment was already going steadily down by 2014.

I'm sure that there exists an argument that'll convince you and it won't just be you furiously moving the goalpost in an attempt to not accept that a significant number of Americans like what Trump's doing and as a result will want to give him a second term. North Korea is ALWAYS gonna posture and make a big show of things, that's unavoidable, but Trump managed to convince NK to not be more belligerent than average, and if that means they are more tolerable if not peaceful, that's better than nothing.

As for the other, it's the Chester Arthur presidency all over again at worst. Even if you say he inherited a situation that was already not that bad, it hasn't gotten any worse under his stewardship, and if that's not impressive to you, you can at least be grateful what wasn't broken remains unbroken.
