This is why I run Win10 for my workstation and run WSL2 for everything. I don't have to worry about this cancerous shit pile and their asinine bylaws.
I don't need a UI for anything I do as everything is terminal based , runs with a web management console, and if I need to edit a file I can use Notepad++ for damn near everything.
The sooner these racist run out of people using their product the better. They can go back to twitter and rage at the successful people for the rest of their life while they eat catfood living with 18 of their other degenerates in an 300 sq ft apartment in the Castro.

GNOME is not Linux. I don't know anyone who runs GNOME. I think the general consensus was GNOME3 was a failure and everyone bailed to alternatives.

Coraline's brain sewage is infecting many projects. I found it funny though that two projects that are extremely codependant on one another have polar opposite Codes of Conduct.
BISON and FLEX are two projects that 99.9% of the time are used together. Bison has Coraline's crap CoC, and FLEX has a "Fuck code of conduct" Code of Conduct.
Kind of off-topic, but what's wrong with Ubuntu? It's pretty much the de facto operating system for CS classes and I don't see any real problem with it.

I wonder when GIMP is going to leave the GNOME project. The maintainers are constantly getting pestered by people complaining about their name. Some people forked it but like AyoJS I expect it to just immediately die.

Forgive me if I'm a simple Windows peasant but I've found that the command prompt and most of the menus still run on essentially MSDOS. Windows 10 is hard to crack but once you know what you're doing you can basically make it your bitch. You could probably do even more than I can since I suck at this game.

The popular mantra states that racism = discrimination + power, i.e. you can only be racist 'downwards'. This leaves room for discrimination 'upwards' which of course because it's not 'racism' is absolutely fine.

This is the point. Keeping rules ambiguous means they can be applied inconsistently, which is to say, at the whims of the people holding the power. This is a common tactic used to cement positions because it allows the simple inclusion of desirables/exclusion of undesirables. Thankfully, this fosters thought and talent stagnation as an echo chamber is created (or reinforced) and diversity is, ironically, throttled. It happens every single time, without fail, and will continue to do so ad infinitum because it is a fundamental characteristic of human nature. Collaboration between individuals of differing views and thought processes bolsters success, rather than hampering it, and it's a lession progressives have blithely refused to learn in exchange for "safety", whatever the fuck that means.
