Qt, unlike GTK (Gnome) is a traded company, seeking profit. So their pandering should be secondary to actually delivering a functional product and money.

Gnome is mostly developed by Red Hat, also a traded company.

I guess I dodged a bullet here. I got pissed at some Windows 10 features years back and was considering switching to Linux, but out of laziness I just looked it up and now I can use Windows 10 without it hassling me.

A ton of that crap also goes on in Microsoft.

Windows 10 is hard to crack but once you know what you're doing you can basically make it your bitch. You could probably do even more than I can since I suck at this game.

I use cmd.exe and powershell on Windows, but Windows is always Windows. I'm stuck using the Windows interface instead of something elegant like a tiling wm. I can get bash on Windows but it's like a proper bash's exceptional cousin who eats things discovered in his nose. I have to search the Internet to install packages instead of using pacman/portage/apt or ports (FreeBSD) to just type a command in terminal and have it install.

This is easy to get around. If you're cis, say you're trans or non binary. If you're a man, say you're a woman or non binary woman. If you're white or Asian, say you're any other race. If you're not Muslim, say you are.

That's my fundamental problem with Troons in general, they demand that people lie. A dude in a dress who surgically mutilated his body is not a woman, he is an insane man. Forcing people to call him a woman is forcing people to lie under threat of punishment. It is completely insane.

If Windows offered the level of control that Linux does, I'd use it. But it doesn't so I don't.

It makes sense. Trannies constanly change the way they look, though how their body actually functions does not change no matter what they do. Linux users want to change the way their desktop looks even though what the computer actually does changes very little. A match made in heaven.

It must be too much for these people to be adults and just sort out their issues in private, like the adults they are.
If something someone does makes you uncomfortable, confront the person in private about it to resolve the issue. If they keep making you uncomfortable, then escalate to authority figures to resolve it.

I'm going to love it if they ever try to enforce one of these things and find that they're the legal equivalent of drug addled babbling and completely meaningless from a legal standpoint. If anything, if they take adverse action against someone who has been illegally discriminated against on basis of race and use this bullshit to justify it, it proves that they actually have explicitly discriminatory illegal policies.

GNOME has had some good aspects, but taken as a whole, I've always hated the overall design, especially how it magnifies everything I don't like about the macOS interface and just makes it even more obnoxious and bloated.

This is exactly the right way to set a rule (except for the "pregnant stomach" part, shows it was written by a troon. This isn't how babby is formed!)
Set the general principle, then provide specific examples fro scale and so that offenders would take notice.
