Not sure if this goes in the gamergate thread or not; so I'm posting in both.
Sargon of Akkad talking with a veteran of the SjWs shitting up the atheist community.

I can't really add to this, but I will say it does give me hope for society that intelligent people would rather opt out of biased media than let it corrupt their way of thinking. I know a lot of people who seem to think media bias is harmless as long as it agrees with your own bias, and that's a recipie for groupthink and mob mentaility. Case in point: SJWs.
Thanks, this is one of the few posts in this thread that's made me feel better about the world I live in.
Tommy's.I can't think of anything I'd really miss if California decided to secede
Honestly, I have some conservative friends to thank for me seeking out more unbiased news sources. I might disagree with them about things like socialised medicine but they're still good people and they get judged really harshly by a lot of left wing people without taking the time to find out why they believe what they do or who they are as people. They were the ones who encouraged me to look further than liberally biased media and I just ran with the suggestion and never looked back.
I know there are lots of people out there who would rather avoid SJW shit than just read it because they happen to be liberal.
If anyone doesn't know who she is, thunderf00t explains it better than I can:I love how sjws come with early warning flags. Those glasses scream trouble a mile away. I know she thinks they make her look brainy but whatever.
If anyone doesn't know who she is, thunderf00t explains it better than I can:
tl;dw she claimed to have PTSD from twitter comments, bitched out military veterans who called her out for trivializing PTSD, and she literally tried to ruin people's military careers by calling their commanding officers.
I only wish I could have been a fly on the wall for one of those phone conversations, because holy shit. I can't imagine any of those calls going her way, and I imagine the result 99 times out of 100 would be her being blown the fuck out (assuming she wasn't just making that shit up).
Anime and manga actually evolved from Disney cartoons and Betty Boop, IIRC. And I'm OK with that. The japanese LOVE cultural appropriation and actually spend a lot government programs to export their culture.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_appropriation said:Critics argue this analysis omits the issue of colonialism, context, and the difference is that exchange happens on an "even playing field", and pieces of an oppressed culture are often taken out of context by a people who have historically oppressed those they are taking from.[9][32][33]
If I catfished lesbos or pretended to be a hollywood actor for pussy pics and sold them on the internet I would be scum
wasn't aware that enjoying the exoticness (if I understand "exoticism" right) of another culture or orientalism
I just dropped this off in the GG thread. In case anyone wants to pass it along to other websites or on the social media crazy train, feel free.
Maybe one on jezebel I think I would lose those connections upon proposal. If you called it "art" and had the right connections for a gallery show, you'd be getting your own articles.
One would like to ask if any students that weren't of that group, especially students from former territories like the Philippines, actually felt oppressed by the American flag. If said former territory students didn't care, I bet they would be given a condescending remark by those that want the flag banned.Submitted without comment:

No I know who she is she's hated by veterans groups everywhere. If you think she couldn't ruin someone's career you'd be wrong her position in dc and the highly political cocksucking nature of high ranking officers really means anything could happen, she could get laughed at on speakerphone after everyone in the office is told to gather round. She could have gotten someone thrown out.tl;dw she claimed to have PTSD from twitter comments, bitched out military veterans who called her out for trivializing PTSD, and she literally tried to ruin people's military careers by calling their commanding officers.

Wikipedia's article on the subject says:I'm playing Sleeping Dogs right now, is that Orientalism?
It doesn't seem inherently harmful. Also, I should've mentioned earlier that Eden does acknowledge cultural exchange as being OK, so they're not against any use of other cultures. But they're against uses they see as "costume-ish", so it probably depends on what kind of "orientalism" is involved to Eden.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orientalism said:Orientalism is a term that is used by art historians, literary and cultural studies scholars for the imitation or depiction of aspects in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and East Asian cultures (Eastern cultures).
There was this one political cartoon I recall where one person was covering up the mouth of a person of another race, saying that they'll speak for them instead, or something like that.

Side note: The woman who made these comics (Plebcomics) was doxxed, harassed and bullied off the internet, and her company received so many angry calls and emails from SJWs that she was fired.
Tolerance in Action.

Update: the ban got overturned. One would like to ask if any students that weren't of that group, especially students from former territories like the Philippines, actually felt oppressed by the American flag.
